The phins shouldnt have taken Ronnie Brown with the nd overall pick in April's draft. They should have either banked on Ricky returning or could have added a RB through a trade example Travis Hnery. Or possibly a stud in Shaun Alexander but they decided to take Ronnie Brown. They should have drafted a QB in Aaron Rodgers or in the later rounds takend AD Mcpherson. I dont agree with the ronnie brown draft where we could have gone in other directions

I agree to an extent...the safer route was Alexander for a 2nd...then trade down for below value and get more picks and a proven back..that being said I'm still happy with the draft as a whole

The last guy who banked on Ricky returning is coaching at Pittsburgh..........the college.

Give it a rest!!! We drafted what we needed! Enough said!! We still can't count on Ricky so i don't know WTF you are thinking. We need to drop you from the practice squad so another team can pick you up!

Travis Henry is an average RB, imo. Aaron Rodgers fell to 24, so he probably was not worth the 2nd overall pick, Adrian McPherson had more baggage than Maurice Clarett, IMO, so I would not of drafted him in the 7th rd. Banking on Ricky Williams? Counting on Ricky Williams to do anything is a gamble, he could've been reinstated and available for the start of the year, perhaps than a running back in the later rds would've been a better option. I don't think RB's have value at the top of the draft, but a RB was the logical choice without a Qb/Dt/Lt, worthy of that pick.

Our greatest need after Smith was taken was RB and to trade a second for a RB with 5 more years on his legs that would've wanted a contract we couldn't afford wasn't a better option than Brown or Caddy. In the case of Ricky, while I'm fine with him coming back, we don't know what we're gonna get and in the end if he plays the best thing for both sides would probably be to trade him.

DO you understand that Brown can do it all ?

I still think that brown is the best choice we could of made in this years draft i mean look at his Madden ratings. He and DJ are the 2 rookies with the best rating.
Brown is quick and as Coach Gruden said had the best hands in the Draft
so not only can you use brown as a RB you can also use him as a WR

I stick with Brown i really do think he is going to be a great back ricky has 1 or 2 years left in the tank he doenst really care for playing Football anymore he just doesnt want any debt.

The thing is we dont know what Ricky might or might not do...he could be his old self or he could be a bust....we needed to draft a running back and I am glad we took Ronnie Brown....give AJ and Gus a shot at QB and if it doesnt work out we can take a QB next year.

.........so a RB who has two 1300 yd seasons is avg...........???? hum...........so what does that say for all fins back to 1972? THenry is alot better than avg..........to me avg RB means a guy like Kevan Barlow........Tomas Jones...........Garrison Hearst.....Charlie Garner.......they come to mind

Thats exactly what the Bills said to themselves when drafting Willis Magahee, or when the Rams drafted Steven Jackson, or when the Bengals drafted Chris Perry. Those teams all had starters who are good players. This is such a stupid Post.

theres plenty of good quaterbacks in the draft next year we will be in good position to get one next draft wether we suck this year(which i dont think so)we can get one of the top qbs or ir we finish in the middle we still may get a qb there aswell the drafting of ronnie was the smart pick ricky wont be back for long

You're kidding about looking at his Madden ratings....right? Madden ratings for rookies and some veterans are always based on hype/reputation. I may be 28 years old but I still remember Madden for Sega Genesis where Eric Metcalf of the Browns was like the best player in the game after Emmitt & Barry. Madden ratings don't mean squat.

I myself love all of our choices...but dont get me wrong about the Roth pick...i just thought Khalif Barnes was gonna be our selection
