Okay, I know a lot of people don't want us to take WR in the first round. Given how deep this draft class is, I don't think that's a problem. First, we take David Ball with our second round pick. Dude has some freakishly gifted hand-eye coordination (I think everybody knows about the Shrine Bowl catch by now.) I know Mueller wants to address the speed issue, so take Figurs in the 4th or alternately grab Aromashodu back from the Colts (who learned a lot from guys like Reggie Wayne.)

Thoughts?

Ball could get taken probably in the 3rd, maybe in the 4th? I like Higgins from UTEP in the 3rd. The guy is a better version of Ginn.. Fast as lightning, will catch everything, great YAC. Can return punts too

Ball's a projected 2nd round pick. He'd be a 1st round pick if he was from a D-I school.

yeah the last option Get Devin off their practice squad.
Use our draft picks to get a great backer like Zak Deossie or that hyrbrid backer DE from Purdue. he is another JT just waiting to be grabbed.

Steve Smith will be avaialiable in the 2nd.......maybe if we dont get Briggs we take Poslusy

You can't coach speed; every GM/coach will say, "I need speed!".

Speed and no hands gets you James McKnight.

I'm a big fan of Meachem in the 2nd round, and if he's not around then Ball in either the 3rd or the 4th. Just don't spend the 1st round pick on a WR, OL or Defense would be a good 1st round pick.

Ball in the second round? No thanks, let someone else grab him two rounds later.

Ball isn't going to fall to the 3rd round. There's no way in Hell. Anybody who saw the Shrine Game saw the next coming of Jerry Rice.

Ball is/will be there in the third round for basic reasons.

1) He played against bad talent
2) He runs a slow 40 time (4.59 is his average)

I love him and he did well in the Shrine game, but I still dont think it makes him more than a third to fourth round pick.

Simple get me Sidney Rice!!
Sidney was consistently double-teamed, used as a decoy often, and had to endure some really pathetic QB's, yet he still gave us all a show here in South Carolina. The fact is, we don't know what this kid can really do, although we are more than happy with what we have already seen. I would love to see this kid in aqua and orange.
