Said it before but he was on the field like it was just a day at the beach when he tore his achillies.

Steve Smith just tore his vs SD and had to have a towel over his head leaving the field. He was rolling all over the place in pain...just horrible to see.

Wake just lays there, looks up, takes his helmet off,our piece out and casually rolls over.

Crazy. Sad part is this is how Smith's career ends and Wake's career (maybe at least as a Dolphin) also ends on the same injury.

Foster also tore his vs us. I'd say his screaming was more out of frustration

Who cares, Wake is done. Won't play again for Miami. Time to move on.

This is more likely than not. If I've said it once I've said it a million times, we should have traded him last season when we could have gotten at a minimum a second rounder, possibly a first... Now he's done and we get nothing

You are such a great fan.

It's not like his toughness equated to him not missing the rest of the season.

Yep. A least Miami didn't use draft picks to get him though. But still sucks they won't get anything for him.

Wow. Just speechless. And I thought Jets fans were the ones without any class.

Look, we all know injuries are a part of football, and next man up and all that - but when the team MVP of the past decade, a man who's a totally class act, who literally sacrificed his body for the team, who was well on his way to yet another double digit sack year and a Pro Bowl, suffers a career-ending injury - the proper response is to pay some respect and give the man some appreciation for all his contributions. It's not "who cares, nothing to see here", or "I told you so, we should've traded the old cripple", or "it's good thing because we don't have to pay him next year" or any other number of crass, classless comments that show zero respect for an athlete who is not only warrior, but a good person too.

It's both ironic and sad that you can go to a Pats forum and find all sorts of posts paying tribute to Wake, giving him huge props even though they hated him on gameday. And then you come here and see this petty $%^&. :rolleyes2:

You know, Wake is 33. The odds are against him. At his age, and with this type of injury, no one can reasonably expect him to be the same player he has been up to now. Wake has faced crazy odds before. He overcame them to make his mark on the CFL, and to eventually bless us with his skills as a Dolphin. Though I will keep my expectations low, his determination may carry him a long way toward surprising us.

God Almighty. A so called "Dolphins fan" just writing off Cam Wake? Shoulda traded him? Getting old?

I'll bet you weren't saying that **** after the Titans and Texans games.

Damn you for pissing on your own guys. No wonder Patriots fans hang here to laugh at us.

You know, the Miami fans are like the Miami players with Philbin. No allegiance. No teamwork. No fire. **** it all if it ain't easy.

Cameron Wake is up there with Marino, Taylor, Thomas, Clayton, and all the others who put out.

The man is a wrecking machine who gave his all for the team. Show him some ****ing respect.

I believe he will come back and play next year for us. He'll rehab like the warrior that he is and restructure his contract. I am not writing him off.

Also, he belongs in the ring of honor.

You understand Cam Wake is human right?

cry me a river. Never did I attack his person so calling me classless is Childish. Go crawl back under the rock you came from so

And if you knew anything about the Patriots which you should since you admittedly love to visit their forums you would know that this is a practice that Bellicheck practices just about every year. So while you want to lose with past their prime players I want to see the team succeed.

Also, sure these guys are warriors and I owe them nothing. I fill Wakes and every other players pockets so you can think it's classless (clearly you don't know the definition of that) all you want. Makes no difference to me what you think
