If we get Boldin it will make Ginn a much better player, a first round pick kind of player. So if we trade a first round pick for Boldin it would get us alot more value out of our #9 pick two years ago. That makes it a push, give up a first rounder to get production out of our other first rounder.

One final thought why not pay Boldin, because if we draft a stud he will want to get payed or he will go to FA like all the others do. We have to pay sometime, and we know Boldin is a stud, theres no guessing there.

For once I find myself in complete agreement with you.

Are you dizzy blud? We are still giving up a first rounder! It will not 100% make Ginn a better player.

:sidelol: Same thing I thought...:lol2:

historically speaking ginn already produces at a 1st round level...

I would gladly give up a first and third for Boldin! He is a proven impact player, the 25th pick or whatever is never a proven thing!

It will make Ginn a better player 110%. It will make every player on our offense better. And I clearly understand it will still cost us a first rounder, guess you missed the point of my post. I said it would be a push canceling things out in a way, dont take it so litteraly.

I see what you are saying, but your title says "without a first round pick"

I know how we get him without a 1st. We kidnap him and then make him play under the name Wilford.

I couldnt think how to word it any differently. I just dont know why giving up a first and alot of money is a bad idea. He is proven, and guy Parcells draft history stinks.

Why do so many of yall love our 1st round picks, look at our history of 1st rounders......most of them turn out to be merly average starters if not complete busts

EX: CB Jamar Fletcher
CB/DB Jason Allen
WR Ted Ginn
T Vernon Carey
RB John Avery
WR Yatil Green

RB Ronnie Brown (Only 1 pro bowl)

Boldin is a proven elite WR in this league....and he is definatly the toughest SOB to bring down....any NFL CB can agree with me on that

How about make Ginn make himself a better player. We drafted Ginn to be a Boldin type receiver. People have given Ginn every excuse possible. If he were a 3rd pick I would be satisfied with his play. But he was the 9th over all and really has only made a handful of big plays. Face it all he really does is run in straight line real fast. He isn't illusive, he doesn't make people miss, and he certainly isn't going to run through anyone.

Its a team game, every player should make every player around him better. Lets see what Fitzgerald does without Bolden. Ocho Cinco without TJ. I gaurantee they will suffer.

The main gripe I hear on here about Ginn is that he was a first rounder. I am trying to give you guys a way to make the Ginn pick sit a little better. Bolden would make Ginn a great #2 and then no one would mention his draft position.
