How we get to 10 wins

how to win 10 games?
Very easy. Just win 7 out of 9. No problem.

Yeah sounds silly when you put it like that. All I'm asking is we win 75% of our home games and win 50% of our remaining road against 4 crap teams. The Seahawks would already be planning for their first week bye in our situation.

Its really frustrating to me that we can't seem to figure out how to win at home where we have a real tangible home field advantage: heat and humidity. One of the first things Philbin said when he got here was learning to run the hurry up offense was going to be a priority for us, thats exactly what we need to do to take advantage of the humidity. The Patriots killed us with that in 2011 in our own house driving half our defense out of the game with cramps, why can't we figure out that THAT should be our bread and butter? Anyway, I thought Philbin was smart enough to know we had to become a good hurry up team but so far we have run very little of it and all of this losing at home is really starting to piss me off. /rant

It's all good trying to find silver linings, but as for me, I can't.

I remember the day of Miami having a super home field advantage not too long ago. It's gone. 100% gone. For whatever reason, it's just toast. We had the heat and humidity advantage, but with such ****ty football being displayed recently, not even the home town fans want to come deal with it.

We had a winning record at home last year at 5-3, still isn't great but it was a step in the right direction at least. It was only the second time we got to 5 wins in over a decade. And people wonder why the fans prefer to stay home.

If we win on Thursday then I have hope. If not then ... .well there is always next season.
