3 years from now, what would make this draft a success in your opinion?

(Number of starters, backups, contributors, pro bowlers, etc.)

Id like to see Tunsil at LT playing like Jake Long, Howard as a starting corner that isnt a liability and the two third round picks as regular contributors. ANything else would be a bonus

Tunsil a starter at LT
Howard a contribute in secondary
Drake (a James Stark type player)
Leonte Carroo a top3 Wr. on the team (a la 2016 Rishard Matthews)

Grant,Lucas,Doughty,Duarte In 3 year anyone of these guys still on the team

1. Tunsil stays clean and plays to his potential.

2. Two of the three DBs we picked up (including Maxwell) turn out to be quality starters. I don't need Pro Bowl play, but legitimate, quality starters.

3. Production out of the multiple offensive players we picked up. I don't think any of them wind up being stars, but I just want them to bring some production to the offense.

I would view that as a successful draft process.

I think success for this season is changing the culture more than what the win/loss record shows. I want to see a team with 52 other players who put their hearts on the line like Jarvis Landry. Early in the season he seemed to be the only player who cared. That was hard to watch.

Interestingly, Miami focused on players with that alpha mind set and a chip on their shoulder in this draft. That was mentioned quite a bit in the presser by Grier.

Anyway, what I want to see in three years is a Dolphin team that is competing for a super bowl title. Hopefully, quite a few players from this draft will be part of this success.

same as usual win win win

Most have said it but...Tunsil I would expect to be a top 10 tackle in the nfl...

Howard and Carroo as solid starters.

One good special teamer out of the two kick returners

And the two guys we got in the trade to be at least average starters

I would call it an excellent draft

Three years of improved records and clear identity to the offense and defense thanks to contributions from the class. Tunsil, Howard, and Lucas starting with Carroo, Grant, and Drake clearly factoring in the pass and run games respectively.

This draft will be defined by the ability of Xavien Howard to be a quality CB IMHO. For what they gave for him, he better be good... real good.
