he came out and shocked us all and decided to make Sage our starting QB? Personally, I would give him credit for stepping out and thinking outside the box. From what I've seen out of the other 2 guys, you could say that he deserves a shot but I doubt he gets it.

i wouldnt care.Sage started last years game at baltimore and did ok vs. the leagues best d.I was there.:DFirst play td

I'd think he's seen what most of us has seen......... A lack of production at QB, and he's looking for a change

I would welcome any decision he makes. He is the coach! We are fans of the miami dolphins that speculate on a website. Whatever Saban does is better than what we think. He wants to win.

I think he did well vs Baltimore as well.He deserves a shot at some point,if not now then if Gus fails,I think he should be next in line, the man has paid his dues.

I did not welcome anything Wanny did. I beleive in Saban. I had no faith in Wanny. So, NO different attitude. I think Gus=Sage that's all. One is no better than the other IMO.

I agree

Besides anyone that says starting Sage over the other 2 is a bad idea is probably a little naive.

Honestly, we have been saying this for years. He can't do any worse then fumbling and having ir returned for a TD or having an INT returned for a td. But it's ok if he does that on the infield dirt lol

When u have 2 QB's who probably won't be here next season and are not the future it would be stupid to not give someone who still has a chance to possibly be something

Come on now did you say that when wanny made desicions?

Guys lets be clear he didn't do good against baltimore in no way shape or form he made one pass to start the game then looked like a bumb the rest ot the time his qb rating was horrible, so no more he did great at baltimore garbage!

Did you read all the posts? look up, question is answered. And, Wanny did not make decisions.

no actually i saw your post and replied before seing that everyone else asked you about your comment! Also until Saban does something here his desicions look alot like wannys!

The only knock against Sage is that he hasnt really practiced with the 1st team, but those who have havnet done anything with them so why not. The sad part about this season is I've almost already given up on it. Even last year I had a glimpse of hope going into the regular season.

Hopefully the Defense wins championships holds true because as bad as our offense is, I think our D is going to be pretty good.

I think we will have about 5 or 6 wins this year just due to the fact our running game is better. As far as Sage goes I would not hold it against Saban is he started him or put him up in the depth chart, he has shown he deserve to be there. Last year i was skeptical about Sage but the game last year about the Ravens opened my eyes. How many third stringers do you know would come off the bench on the first play and throw a bomb for a TD. Gus right now cannot even connect that far with one of our recievers. Lets try it, what do we have to lose?? Who was really expecting playoff's this year?

Actually I would have to agree with you. I see alot of similarities as last year. But for some reason the guy (Saban) makes me beleive in him. I know it is just talk, but he seems like a motivator. Something that Wanny had to bring in because he was not. Anyway, I guess we'll see. Back to the subject though. I could care less if Sage or any of the other two 3rd stringers start. They are about equal.
