End Result: 12 draft picks, two of which are used to draft our potential franchise QB & LT, along with Trent Green.

Note: I'm not saying I think any of this is likely to happen. I'm just curious how you would feel about it overall, and what you think of each potential trade too...

I agree, but consider this:

Chiefs' president/general manager Carl Peterson has said he would like to get the Chiefs some more picks. And everybody knows he wants to trade Trent Green.

The Saints have three picks in the fourth round. Those two picks I have us obtaining from them both come after their first pick on day two of the draft. They may want to move up in the third in order to obtain a targeted player who falls out of the second round but has no chance of dropping to 88.

Everybody knows the Vikings and 49ers are in desperate need of help at WR. They may consider shipping a fourth round pick for Chris Chambers or Marty Booker, especially if they are unable to land a coveted WR on day one of the draft. In addition, the 49ers also have picks 97 & 110, so they may be willing to part with 104...

This isn't completely unrealistic. One or more of these trades may happen...

Draft Paul Williams (WR - Fresno St.), Aundrae Allison (WR - East Carolina), Jason Hill (WR - Washington State), or Jacoby Jones (WR - Lane) at 88. Draft another WR in the fourth round, and/or David Ball (WR - New Hampshire) with one of the seventh round picks. Look into getting another FA after the June 1 cuts if we have to...

Personally, I think we could use the cap relief more than their lackluster play. It's probably time to dump one of the two if we can get some value for them...
 
like the picks...even more if we snatch up the golden domer..
 
Horrible. IMO Quinn and Staley are the two most overrated players in this draft.

I think Staley is overrated . . . I mean I love him as a prospect but not as high as people have him. Quinn . . . yea he is overrated as well, but this team needs a QB and IMO he is the best one for this team.

Staley at 40 is love . . . but @ 9 . . . . geez I would be upset, I rather go defense and get a stud like Landry.
 
We don't have to trade for Trent Green. He refuses to negotiate with other teams so his cap # is $7.2 million. The Chiefs can"t afford to keep him so thier only move will be to release him so they can have cap relief.
