3. Miami(from Cleveland—Cleveland gets #9, Miami’s 2 2nds and 3rd rounder in 08): Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin. Miami has a sorry Oline and Thomas is the first step to recovery lol.

Man, I would be RIP**** if we gave ALL those picks up to move that high and take Joe Thomas. The ONLY person I would even CONSIDER all that for is Quinn, and even then I don't think I want to give up that much for one player.

Agreed, way to much, we cant afford to lose BOTH our 2s and a future 3. Also agree if we do move up its for Quinn or MAYBE CJ. But I certainly dont see up trading any further up than #6 with the Skins

Yeah, especially since we don't NEED to trade any further up than the Skins to get Quinn as long as Detroit or Cleveland pass on him. We'd only have to give up our first and the pats second rounder to do so too, which is ALMOST like just switching 1sts since we didn't even HAVE that #60 pick to work with until the Wes trade a few weeks ago.

Way too much to move up only six spots. Calvin Johnson is the only player in this draft remotely worth giving up that much to get.

who cares, you will still suck

If we ever moved up I would hope we take Calvin effing Johnson! Besides giving up 3 draft picks to take a OT! NO THANK YOU.

Talk to us again mid-season when Chad's shoulder falls off for the 97th time and the crappy Jets are back instead of the ones who managed some wins last season :rolleyes2

I would have to think extremely long and hard about this. Depending on how Alabi looks or whomever else is at LT during next month's mini camp, I just might, and that's a big might, be willing to pull the trigger on this trade.

With that said, we could probably find someone in the 2nd round that could also be an immediate upgrade over what we have now.

There are 6 offensive line on the roster now...

There is no way I do that trade. Those 2 second rounders very well could be offensive linemen.

See I don't know much about the linemen in this draft. I never study o-lineman because, well, the position just bored me to be honest . I know they are a huge part of a team, and are pretty damn important, but I always spend my pre-draft time looking at the skill positions and d-lineman. Because of that, I have no idea where a lot of the lineman project this year, so I can't say who would be available to us in what round.

That being said, no WAY do I want to give up all that for an OT in round one, because I'm assuming there WILL be a few good guys in round 2 we could get. I know that Kalil kid from USC is a pretty good C, and he should be there in round 2 for us, and I'm assuming Thomas and Brown aren't the only good OTs in the draft, so there should be one after round 1 for us.
