Howard just confirmed he is playing tomorrow

The injury report confirmed it. He wasn't on it
 
Hope he can knock the rust off quickly.
 
I hope he is 100%. This would be a good game to get his NFL groove back before the jills and cheatriots.
 
I've never seen such anticipation for a guy to come back like I've seen for Howard. And he's played what, 4 games? I like him, but what do we really expect from him? He's not starting ahead of Tony tomorrow night. He's probably in for 15 plays. Hopefully, he can contribute the rest of the way, but he's missed a lot of time. He needs to be up for the challenge, because NY will probably go at him when he's in.

The thing of it is he has been practicing and I wouldn't think that Gase would give him the green light unless he has been proved himself already in practice. I know practice isnt exactly like a game but it kept more than a few players away from live action so I am more inclined to think that Howard is ready for the challenge.
 
Hope so! The guy is talented, he just doesn't have a lot of game time experience and we are in crunch time! Would've loved to have had him playing all year.
 
He's been practicing for several weeks... he's probably been practicing at 100% since last week too... I'm not overly excited about him coming back... simply that we are getting a little better with depth down the stretch while we're playing important football. It helps that he has flashed some great things in his short career, but really, if our depth was improving at any position with a key player during a playoff push, we should all be at least a little excited.

Even if it's 15 snaps, that's 15 snaps I feel more confident with our depth.

This is exactly what I was thinking about. It would be great if Howard can play the slot. B McCain doesn't belong there.

He was really good in those 4 games and is our best CB on the roster. If NY is going to pick on him than they are as dumb as they look.
