I saw the post practice interview he did on wednesday and he said alot about him trying to play better and work on it during the bye week. Hopefully he will play better but atleast he should be working hard and making the other cb's compete and work just as hard.

I'm gonna say this and probably get smashed for it, but he's not that bad of a player. He hasn't shown much here, but he was a decent CB for the Panthers in their SB run. Remember what that secondary did to Philly in the conference game. All the attention was on Ricky Manning, Jr. because he was a rookie and McNabb attacked his side and did not work hard on Howards side....

At any rate, the fact is that he has struggled with two different D schemes in 2 years here. He certainly didn't fit into Wanny's press coverage and now I'm not sure he is physical enough for Saban's secondary...But if he recognizes his play was weak, that is half the battle...

sad part is, watching th Game of the Week for the Panthers' game, which is awesome, he was the victim of a couple great throws and on other plays some great catches. He needs to get his head turned (and TD too) before the ball arrives, but he basically was in position to make the play 85%+ of the time. Of course he unfortunately didnt make the plays when he was in position-something tells me it will not be an issue much longer one way or the other-Nick is ALL over it-I hope I'm right
