On that 50+ yarder they gave up yesterday, I was just wondering why they would put our very average CB Reggie Howard with no back up safety help. They know hes been struggling and they put him out there on a play that defined the game. He was matched up one on one...if anything match madison one on one but if the CB is reggie howard they gotta give him some help

I disagree. He was in position to make a play whether it was to bat the ball down or lay out and completely get in between Dwight and the ball, however Howard has no heart. Dwight wanted it more then he did. Because Howard went into that play half heartedly he didn't win that ball.

I don't see why people are complaining about that when Shulters got beat twice for touchdowns.

only once, the first time JT let the man go when he was suppose to stay with him.

I don't question Howard's heart, but I definitely will sya he just isn't talented enough to play in the NFL at anything but ST and dime.

because we blitzed... and we seem to get beat more when we blitz than when we dont...

this game we didn't blitz much, but thsoe 2 big plays that got the patriots that winning TD in the 4 quarter, 2 blitzes... i know why we try to blitz but a lot of time it just ends up with us being in trouble with man to man coverage and we get beat...

It was a dumb play by him, no discussion about that. But it would be too easy to blame just that guy. Most people blaming him think that if you release him everything will be good. It won't. The whole secondary sucks or raises question marks.

Schulters was twice beat for a TD and too often shows poor tackling, Tillmann is a backup, Jones injured again, nobody knows who Poole ' s knee will be next year and Madison will not get any younger.
True, Howard is overpaid but overall I was more pissed about Schulters, lack of pass rush , allowing a backup FB to rush for nearly 100 yards , McMicheal fumbling, Mare missing a 31yarder and Chris Chambers dropping one pass after another

Because Howard played the ball totally wrong. he went half-*** for the pick and let the reciever get behind him...thats the biggest possible no-no with hardly any time left on the clock.

A quarter of a step, and that would've been an INT. I'm not sweating that play much.

Schulters is a better player than Howard and that play to Dwight did more damage at that juncture of the game. Howard had a chance at that ball and he once again messed up. He didnt fight for that ball and that unforgivable going into last 2 mins.

Unlike most games where we could pin bad play on one particular player such as the QB, yesterday was a collaberative effort to see who could play worse. CC played about as bad a game as I've seen out of any reciever on any level. I don't care about the 2nd TD. That was luck! The position who played the best was the OL. The DL was a joke, the secondary is always a joke and the LBs missed tackels. I guess as bad as we played asa a team the only bright spot is we could have tied the game. Mare struggled, our punter was just Horrible!
