We got cameron for a reason...to turn this offense around. I think he has the tools to get chambers the ball and make use of him. He had a very off year with mike mularkey calling plays and not getting him more involved earlier in games. If we can get him the ball early and let him get in a flow, i think he could return to his numbers under linehan

i hope we draft quinn so he can throw ACCURETLY with ACCURECY to chambers

thats the idea and i hope i dont catch a lot of crap from c-pepp fans in here about this next comment but how do we al lknow he will heathly and ready by the time the '07 season opens...

yeah lets get a qq to throwm chambers accurate balls so then instead of him dropping inaccurate passes he will drop accurate passes then maybe you people will finally realize there is no real form with him he is a poor mans #1 but would benefit from having a better wr on the other side its the only way he will flourish he is the john taylor, he can never be the jerry rice and never will he doesnt have it upstairs, true he is phisically gifted but lacks what elite wr have and that could be a number of things depending on what you opinion is

Well I like to be optimistic too, but if you look at the Offense of the Chargers last year and years before, their WR were the least used by their QBs...

Just last year Gates (TE) had the most targeted (120), then LT with 80...

Their # 1 WR (Keenan) was targeted 51 times in 13 games for 437 yds, their # 2 Parker was targeted 70 times for 659 yards...

No WR in Cam's tenur with San Diego amassed more receptions then their RBs and or TEs...

No WR in Cam's tenur with San Diego amassed 1,000 yds in a season...

LT or Gates (being the only players with 1,000+ yds in a season) were the primary receivers all 5 years that Cam coached there. WR was considered either secondary or third in receptions...

So the WRs were not the primary targets in Cam's Offense, I don't see much of that changing if that is "his" way to score points and win games...

I guess Chambers <1,000 yds seasons will continue unless Cams decides to change his gameplan or lets him go in the future...

Alot of NFL scouts said that he isnt an accurate intermediate to deep passer and doesnt have the arm strngth to get the ball deep down the field

The reason for this was because Cam knew that his play makers were the RB and the TE. Tell me which of the SD receivers you would want to play for Miami. Exactly, they don't have any solid receivers.

Chambers will not have a repeat year that he had in 2006, I'm certain of that. A healthy Daunte and a good offensive mind will do wonders for Chambers.

I don't think you understand the mantra of the Chambers' fan club:

"1 decent year provides many years of blaming everyone else for the bad ones."

I think the main reason for this is because they didnt have talent at WR...Cam uses the talent he has. His TE and his RB were the most talented guys on the offense

I would take a healthy David Boston (when he was with Arizona) over Chambers anytime...

But we can only dream and hope the dream turns into reality...I guess alot of us live with hope...I rather live with life...

PS..and I would take any of those WR currently their roste...same production at way below the cost of what we currently have...

You really should research before you start shouting off random blurbs like this one.

First of all, I don't know how many times players make the pro bowl with a decent year. That's just ridiculous, why don't you give Chambers his kudos for that year and just stop hating the man so much.

Secondly, how about early in his career. From 2003 to 2005 (3 season span) Chambers was 3rd in the NFL in TD catches.

His rookie year he had 883 yards and 7 TDs.
IN 2003 and 2004 combined, he totaled more than 1900 yards and 18 TDs

Explain to me how that is 5 terrible years and one DECENT one.

Boston will never play a healthy season ever again. Yes he was good 1 year with Arizona, but I would never take him over Chambers.
