Say what you want about ole crater face and his sidekick but those 2 at least finished off deals. Our current owner and GM cant buy a HC or QB if there job depended on it.....
Ireland's job and career is riding on this. Don't give me that Flynn, Tannehil crap, the stadium is empty and needs Manning in order for this organization to survive..... You want Plan B if Manning fails, we go all in for Tim Tebow, whether you like him or not he is a huge draw and I would even support him.
 
Speilman is greater than nobody, he was a horrible GM. Now Huzienga you can say was better than Ross at this point but Speilman makes Ireland look like a genius

I agree with you on Ireland and Ross...but Huizenga and Spielman kept Dave Wanndstedt for YEARS and Jay Fiedler!!! They sucked too. [h=2][/h]

One of the worst deals in dolphin history. we traded a second round pick and gave him a good contract and still had a battle with Jay friggin Fielder.
At least Daunte had been good and it was a solid risk a fairly young qb in his possible prime. Even worse this idiotic franchise traded him away the next year fro Cleo friggin Lemon. I actually thought Feeley was starting to show potential towards end of year. Was a tough kid with no oline
 
That's a bad comparison for multiple reasons.

Ross didn't hire Ireland, if Ireland wasn't here Ross would have been laughed out of the NFL by now.

The similarities are that Speilman was shackled with Wannsteadt who was completely clueless about personnel matters and Ireland is shackled with Ross is basically completely clueless about every single element of the NFL. Starting with how to speak with the press about the team that he owns.

Ireland > than Speilman but Speilman is nowhere near as bad as many dolphans seem to think

Huizinga was so much better than Ross that it would be obvious to Helen Keller
 
How about Dumbstadt drafting jamar fletcher Instead of brees, Eddie Moore and not getting Trent green before he became scrambled eggs. He married himself to Fiedler and ran a pretty good team into the ground. A decade of blunders has put us in this spot. I think we have a good core. We need a qb. Imagine that?

i dont think Wanny ran team into ground he just didnt draft well and and never improved the most important position on team. The 2002 team was better talent wise than this current team but you cant keep ignoring qb/ The reasoning was Brees cant help us now, much like the reasoning we use every year when we by pass qb
