Huizenga...Does his approach as a owner...help or hurt us?

I had a chance to watch that Interview at Halftime of Fridays game....and he comes across as a Owner...that knows whats going on....but leaves most business to the coaches. Well there are 2 types of Owners....this type that Huizenga falls under.....and the Cowboys Jerry Jones....who seems like hes a Assistant Coach of sorts....but funny how since Parcells took over....not all over the field like the Jimmy Days....never the less...he is very vocal....
Anyways I understand that Owning these teams is a personal investment and like all investments...you want to oversee every move....and I love the fact that Huizenga will open his wallet for the team.....as long as it doesnt strap us cap wise.....Do you think his presence scares the players? I mean....if Jerry Jones comes into the lockeroom....and I am a player that just blew the game.....and hes starring at me...with a look......dont you think you would just about crap yourself....and try to make yourself better...after all HE signs your outragous paycheck...... I dont believe that Huizenga ever goes into the lockeroom after a game...let alone would make players a little jumpy if he did.......lets coaches take care of business.......so does Huizenga's approach or would a Jones approach fit our team better?

As long as the owner is willing to pay or do what is necessary to make sure the team wins, I'm all for it. Heck, Huizenga can be Steinbrenner for all I care, just not like cheapskate McCourt of the Dodgers who hires a cruddy GM and fires their good coach. Best example of a good owner is Arte Moreno of the Angels.

Id rather have Huizenga than that SOB Jerry Jones any day.

true me too....but boy those superbowl trophies are sure shiny.....and Jones is was a big part of those im sure....behind the scenes.

I like the way he has let the coaches coach. I think it can screws with the team if an owner has too much involment, I would rather have one guy who sends the message and runs the team than a coach who's message is overshadowed by what an owner has to say after a game. I think it makes players question whether an owner realy trusts the HC if he feels he needs to consistantly address the team himself.

After meeting Mr. H at Coach Saban show on Thrusday I like to think he is more involved than more of think.
