Hurns Hit?

The DB was playing the ball, not trying to make a hit. I see it as incidental contact but I can see it being a hit to the head of a defenseless receiver. It’s a tough one to call.

Well whose fault was it? The DB wasnt head hunting. He was late on the throw. He's gotta see that quicker.

The simple truth is nobody tackles anymore. They hit and hope they either take the legs or head out.

Isn’t a face mask part of the helmet? Correct me if I’m wrong but pretty sure no part of the defenders head is suppose to hit another player in their head.

I've seen less called for hitting a defenseless player. Should have been a penalty.

I won't be surprised if the next time that route is called Hurns accidently runs an out.

Good no call based on replay as two players focused on ball met at the time ball arrived.

100% should've been a penalty. Doesn't matter that he was playing the ball it was helmet to helmet, doesn't matter that it was incidental. The rule is pretty black and white regarding that.
