WR - Dorsett ...Depending on what we do with Wallace/Gibson/Hartline he would be a great option in the 3rd.

LB - Perryman ...We need a LB bad, and I love this kids ability. Could be had in the 2nd

TE - Walford ...Would be the big RZ target we need, great seam threat. Has a late 3rd to 4th grade on Walter.

Now this is all depending on what we do with our #1, but how many of these players do you guys think we will draft? I feel like they could all help and at these positions could all end up being steals.

RB - The Duke ...It can't hurt to grab a player like this to compliment Miller. Late 2nd early 3rd grade.

Last one is me dreaming but I would just love to have Duke on this team. If we grab any two of these players ill be extremely happy, especially if we snag Parker/White or Gurley in the 1st.

Walter is not up to date with their rankings. Perryman is a 1st-2nd, Dorsett is a 2nd, & Walford is a 2nd-early third. These three all showed out & were the best at their positions at the Senior Bowl this year. Dorsett & Walford both drastically improved their draft stock there.

I agree...but Walford will be gone after round 2 after he tore up the senior bowl.

i know Dorsett boosted his draft stock, but second round??? i was hoping to see him around in the 3rd

Add Chickillo to the list if he can be had in the 4th or later. Most draftniks were projecting him late before he showed out in the East-West Shrine game, but he's now slated to go in the fourth. I think he can do everything Olivier Vernon does for us, and might be a little stronger.

I'd take anyone of them. As a Canes fan i've follow all their careers and these are some NFL ready players.
Dorsett would be a nice burner if Wallace leaves probably get him in the 3rd round. Duke the same round and i got a feeling he could be special in the right system. Perryman is more a two down player but his stock is up and he may go 2nd round. Walford might be the second or third TE off the board.
Chickallo never lived up to his hype but probably because he was forced in play inside a lot at 270 and he's much better as a 4/3 end like Vernon. Probably 4th or 5th round pick.
Flowers the O lineman will be gone before we pick.

lol... when i first came back to the forum here awhile ago... it seemed like so many fans just wanted to draft the whole Hurricane crew and thats it!!!

Hey you draft guys know better than me who we should be drafting. i could care less what college teams they play for as long as they help our team. The only reason i commented was I know these guys and it would be a mistake not to take a good look at all of them.

Yea, I'm by no means suggesting these are the best fits for our team but we have to stop letting talent leave SoFlo.

T.Y still kills me, Cyprien for Jack is pretty good as well. We have to start getting back to the days of utilizing our backyard advantage.

P.S - I'm a little disheartened to hear Dorsett, Walford and Perryman boosting their stock into the 2nd round range. Perryman and Walford I could see, given the relative absence at their positions in this year's draft. But WR is a surplus again this year and I just can't see Dorsett going in the 2nd.

I'm with you. I was hoping they all ran slow times and looked bad so they could fall a little for us to scoop up.

lol... we planned that horribly with them.

but also there is massive depth at the WR this year, and many teams dont tend to stab high at WRs... I was thinking Dorsett into the 3rd round more due to this... but I could be horribly wrong on that myself.

Dorsett is no where near as good as the top receivers but may be in the picture if they decide to move Wallace. One of you guys had a draft with Parker in the first and Dorsett in the 3rd. I like that especially with Wallace , Gibson and Hartline's futures unknown. Or course we have other needs and this may not be practical.

Walford and Dorsett for sure. Very solid players. Duke is great too but I want a real compliment to Miller, he doesn't have the power in his game that we need.

Not a fan of Perryman at all. 2 down player. 2 down players shouldn't be second round picks.

If Walford was a few inches taller he'd probably be a 1st rounder. I think he's like 6'3'.
Perryman is a liability in pass coverage but a solid tackler.

i agree with you, but i keep thinking back into the draft here and basically the only ILB that can cover of the top ILBs is Eric Kendricks (McKinney and Perryman struggle there)... but for Perryman case, he still offers us still such great value in what we need when he is on the field... i keep going back and forth in my thoughts on this.
