Sorry, I have enough problems drafting a Guard in the first round or even 2, unless you are talking elite level player. And there are NO elite level guards left in this draft vs. our need for ILB, CB or even RB. There is still a pretty good guard up in Philly just sitting there waiting for someone to take him (or be cut) and we are talking about forgetting that and using a second on a position that will be easier to find than our other talent spots of need. I'm just plain ignoring the Peterson "grasping for straws" comment. MN isn't going to trade him for a second when they turned down reported better offers for another team or two. Not to mention the contract $$ would be hard to fit in our cap.
