Hypothetical: We make the superbowl this year. Then What?

Ok for the sake of my argument. We make the Superbowl. Who would we play?
Minnesota or the Saints. I cant see any other team beating them. We played the saints hard but came up short. What do the Vikes and Saints have in common? Great QB and great receivers. As we have already seen this year we are not equipped to handle the big time receivers in this league yet. Even at home the way I figure it we get crushed in the secondary.

I know you will say so what we made it to the superbowl at home. The problem is we would have to get through Indy, N.E., Cinci or the Steelers to even get there. What do they all have in common? Great QB's and receivers. We are close but not that close. It would be nothing short of a Moses type miracle. Were close but not that close yet.

Your thoughts. Feel free to blast if you like.!
 
If we made the Super Bowl a bunch of starving Ethiopians would have a great new "Miami Dolphins Super Bowl XLIV Champion" tshirt to wear around their village after it was over.
 
If we got to the Superbowl this year, we would probably win it. If we got there, it would be proof that anything is possible.
 
If we got there we would have home field advantage being that the Super Bowl is being hosted in MIAMI!
 
IF we made it to the Superbowl, I would have to honor my prayer to god and donate everything i had to charity become a monk...
 
maybe not the most improbable super bowl run, but it would be up there.
 
Actually, we still aren't even in December yet.

The teams that go on to the playoffs and all the way usually get hot in December. The teams that do well in October & November aren't always doing so good come December, just ask Tony Romo.

We showed that we can compete with the Saints, I'm afraid the Vikings would just crush us though. Manning doesn't always handle playoff pressure so well, we could concievably beat them too IMO.
 
IF we made the super bowl, CBS would flex us to 1pm in order to show Brett Farves new reality show.

if we made it to the Super Bowl (and won), the devil would have held up his end of the bargain.
 
I would love to go against brett farve and the vikings so we can see him get old all of a sudden like he does every year.
