Would you rather go 10-6, make the playoffs and lose in 1st round, and obviously philbin would be back.

Or

Finish 8-8, miss playoffs, fire philbin and hire harbaugh.

Go big or go home, I want harbaugh.

Obviously there's no guarantee we'd get harbaugh if we fire philbin so I'll be rooting like crazy for us to make playoffs, but if there was a guarantee we'd get harbaugh if we tanked that's what I would want.

Playoffs, hands down.

Harbaugh is not coming to Miami, he'll stay on the West coast.... I think we need to give Philbin more time anyway, they may be onto something despite three heartbreaking losses...

Like I've said in tother threads, this team is showing significant progress. Right now there are still weaknesses and injuries to account for, but this team is getting national attention for the way they are playing... positive national attention... when is the last time we could say that?

That's Not a good hypothetical because we're probably not going 10-6. A better question is would you rather go 9-7 and miss the playoffs or go 7-9 and miss the playoffs?

Go 10-6, make the playoffs, but I think this team could be a nightmare for other teams if they do reach the playoffs.

This team is getting better each week, and will be getting healthier, if this team reaches the playoffs, losing in the 1st round might not be close to a sure thing.

What is this "lose in the first round" ****?

If this team makes the playoffs, we have a damn good shot to beat either of the teams we'd face on Wild Card Weekend.

10-6 is probably the most educated guess where the team ends up. Miami going 9-7 is just as likely as Miami going 11-5, could happen, but things would have to happen that nobody expects. on either side.

getting Harbaugh would be your best bet long term but for playoff starved fans I think most would choose making it this year

I'll take long term solution if there is one. Philbin is not a head coach and he doesn't learn from his mistakes.

I'd love to see 6-10 if it meant that Philbin and company would be fired. Miami has a problem with strong, physical teams. Philbin wants finesse on offense and defense. Finesse isn't beating the strong physical teams; even though it may look like a close game, all that matters is who wins. Denver, with their starting RBs out, ran for 200 yards on Miami's highly-ranked defense which shows me that rankings and stats don't always tell the whole story. Screw finesse... give me big strong WRs, linemen, TEs, and RBs!
