This is the first time in 2-3 years im excited about the fins, wow, could we actually have a chance at the word playoffs? ok ok maybe im ahead of myself, lets wait ti'll next weekend.
Next subject andre goodman get this guy outta here sparano, come on what does it take? this guy almost lost us a game, second time in a row!!!!! get this bum outta here. cut him, buy him out, get him out of our lockerroom.
Next subject roy williams? get him in here!!!!!! i dont care what we gotta give, bring him in here. We'd be a team to mess with if we got roy in here.
Next subject Ted ginn jr, i dont like this guy, hes shown no intensity, runnin out of bounds, ect... not a playmaker, waste of a 1st round pick.
Next subject yeremiah bell playing great yea i know but come on bell we need you to make int's, not just pat balls down. INTS. Be a pro browler son, step up, you got what it takes! stop patin balls down and catch um u punk.
next subject Matt roth give this guy more playing time, is he starting? freaking BEAST. Thats what we need. Keep it up roth, proving me wrong, i always thought u were a bust. Go roth, im roooting for ya now.

Last but not least, ronnie b the mvp, running over lbs? ronnie b our mvp, way to go ronnie! who cares bout ricky that pothead, ronnies our guy, go ronnie!!!!! Until next sunday!!!!!:woot:

AS to Goodman - I assume you are talking about the play where he lost a battle with a very good WR who was 7 inches taller than him? It didn't look like he played it that poorly, but rather got beat by someone who played it very well. That happens to good CBs when they go against Good WRs.

Other than that, he was a part of a defensive effort that held a high ranked passing offense in check. It's not like they threw his direction all game, and he did defend passes and tackle well.

I am not saying he is ideal for us, or that we shouldn't look to upgrade when we get the chance, but there was nothing about this game that said "bum" to me.

I think this thread is a classic case of a fan thinking he knows more then the coaches. It really ticks me off, its ok to question moves and dream about trades and what not sometimes. But your trying to tell the coaching staff to get this guy out of the lineup, get this guy more playing time. Who are you to say?? Theres a reason they do certain things and you wont understand sometimes. Lets keep the coaching to the coaches and the cheering to us.
 
This is a classic case of sparano needs to take action now and fix somethings so we can get in the damn playoffs already.
 
1st Subject - Andre Goodman: Bum? How was he a bum. He made more good plays than bad ones. No he's not a great corner but you can only do so much in one offseason. I'm sure we will address CB this offseason.

Next Subject - Roy Williams: I wouldn't mind having him, but only for a 2nd at most. If they're wanting anything better, wait until he gets cut.

Next Subject - Ted Ginn Jr.: While I agree he should not have stepped out of bounds, he has still been solid the last 2 games.

Next Subject - Yeremiah Bell: He has been playing to good to criticize him for not getting picks. Wherever the ball is, I guarantee you will find Yeremiah near it. Will make the Pro Bowl if he keeps this up.

Next Subject - Matt Roth: Finally found his spot on this team. However, I will rather wait a full season to judge him.

While most people would say Ronnie B is our MVP, I want to give that award to Bill Parcells for all he has done so far, amazing the talent this guy can find, such a great drafter. But if it must go to a player, I'm more inclined to give it to Chad P. While Brown has been great, Penny's leadership, sharp accuracy, and smart decisions are keys to our success.

And as for Sunday, I think I can wait. The Texans scare me more than the Chargers did. We're cursed when we play them. Hopefully we can break that curse. :up:
 
1. We need to force/get more turnovers! (Interceptions and Fumbles)

2. We need to play more play action and should throw the ball deep to Ted Ginn! (Houston got no CB's, we should try it at least 2-3 times)

3. Lehan has to be our #2 corner and J. Allen has to see the field more often, even as a corner or safety! (He can make plays if we give him more playing time)
 
wow, I was going to boo 3 posts in this thread and quote all of them, but then I realized that it is more effort than just saying read all the posts by the thread starter lol.

well by your logic, will allen almost lost us the game, or bess

one gave up a easy touchdown, one gave up a fumble almost in the redzone.

Goodman made TONS OF PLAYS that game, and one ZONE DEFENSE where he had to adjust and come out of his position with no safety help, tried to make aplay on the ball.

learn football.

#2 your going to cry fire the coaches, get rid of ginn, trade ricky and brown.. turn long to a right tackle if we lose.
 
BTW, there's not a single wide-out that hasn't stepped out of bounds in this league. And yes, many of the greatest ones have done this, especially when they're still young and lack alot of experience.

The kid made at least two clutch catches to keep drives alive, one of which he had to slide to make the catch and you want to bash him for making a mistake and not taking a hit?

Please, get over yourself.
