I can understand the frustration some of you are feeling over such a heart breaking loss last night. I'll admit it made me sick to my stomach.

Having said that, I saw improvement last night, the offense looked tons better last night against Indy then it did against Atlanta.

The Offensive line made huge strides. Long was doing a good job containing his man last night and there where a few plays where Cary was pushing his guy back 5 yards making room for some of our big run plays.

Ronnie and Ricky were running HARD, pushing the pile and fighting for extra yardage.

Even though we will only remember the TD pass Ginn dropped. He was running his routes better and made a few critical fist downs.

We punished their D; I bet Arizona is very excited about that.

We dominated that game. In every way (except for the score :p). If it was 98% of the other teams in this league, we would have won that game. Peyton is one of the best to play the game. The guy can look at your d and instinctively see your weakness, then audible and rearrange his guys to exploit it, all in fewer than 45 seconds. He is just that good and he had our number last night.

Despite the loss and Peyton embarrassing our D, I saw a lot of good things last night.

My only hope is that this loss didn't take the wind out of our sails and we can take that intensity into next week.

I feel much better after this loss than I did after the Atlanta loss. I feel that if we play as hard as we did last night. We can take the Chargers.

Offense improved dramatically, defense regressed equally dramatically. Whether you call that overall improvement or not really depends on whether you're an optimist or a pessimist.

I kind of think it's a wash. Hopefully we'll have a game this season where both show up. :)

I remember last year was kind of like this at the start. The offense would have a good game and the defense would suck, or the other way around.

Eventually they will both have good days on game day. Hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. The good teams finish strong, they don't always start strong...

Good post! I thought you guys played quite well given the situation. You held their TOP to 15 minutes, but that might have been cause they scored thrice in under 100 seconds. The offense was on point, and you ran the ball with determination

Yah a lose like this really stinks!!! but unfortunately the holes on defense kinda showed themselves to be a real problem so far in the 1st TWO games!!! can't cover the TE and missed tackles are killing this team... the offense will settle down and hopefully the defense will follow!!! i didn't think with the schedule that it be easy this year... while the talant level is better than the 1-15 team, there is still alot of rebuilding to do... but IMO the pieces are beginning to fall into place.. another solid draft and this team could be scary good in 2010/2011 ...

Yeah offensively we improved. We can only look as far back as two games now to look for improvements.. I think this kind of offense we are running we absolutely need better special teams play. We cant score fast so we need almost great field position each time..Like maybe like starting close to the 40 each time.. We took a step back on defense too..Tackling is going to kill us if we dont improve say this week...Every week we are going to have to tackle somebody that is hard to bring down...Is this correctlable I dunno..We need better lbs..one more WR that is dominate YAC tight guy. Offensive line bounced back.

This may have been the most dominating offensive performance I have seen in a game ever (points don't mean dominance either...) It reminded me of when we lost to Baltimore in the playoffs when they just shoved the ball down our throat and there was nothing we could do...demoralizing. Their defense was devistated...

To lose the game the way we did was pitiful...

Talk about Jekel and Hyde week 1 all defense no offense, week 2 no defense all offense. Hopefully in week 3 we put it all together!!!!

The Colts have one of the worst run defenses in the league. Of course the O-line and the RBs are going to look good. Our base offense could not generate any push in the running game. Unless we go exclusively Wildcat, I think we will have little success on the ground against SD. It is going to be much harder to move the ball on the ground against the Chargers especially since they are going to put 8 in the box because our QB's arm does not scare anyone. Do you think Chad is going to win the game for us? The Chargers will allow us to dink and dunk because there is no deep threat in this offense. One, Chad can not throw the deep ball and two,Tedd Ginn and his family can not cach it. Step away from the pipe. We are looking at Jay Fiedler II.

Oh yeah, sure, if you consider going from 0-1 to 0-2 improvement. Doh!

this is my first year playing fantasy football and i can't believe i chose the dolphins as my defense. :(
