When we first got Culpepper instead of Brees, I told you it was a mistake. I told you that I'm from Minnesota, and I've seen almost every game Culpepper has played in, and I told you that we don't want him on our team. I told you that he couldn't see his open receivers if they were the only people on the field. I told you that if Culpepper makes mistakes in a game, and is rattled, he will lose his focus, and stay rattled the rest of the game. I told you that when the game's on the line, and it's do or die, Culpepper fails almost every time.

You all wrote me off, probably thinking that I don't know what I'm talking about.

Now, you're seeing what I was talking about. This is EXACTLY how he played in Minnesota. 72% completions, 250 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Stat-wise, you would think that he had a pretty good game, right?

What most people (probably the maroons who play fantasy football) can't seem to grasp, is that STATS DON'T WIN FOOTBALL GAMES!!!

Well, don't lump me into that category. All I said after Miami acquired Culpepper was that he was the best quarterback the Dolphins have had since Marino. To be honest, I was not overly excited about getting him, simply because I had seen a lot of his play in Vikings games.

Who knows? Maybe once he gets more comfortable things will get better. And he is coming off a major injury. And it's not like this organization hasn't traded a second-round pick for a quarterback who didn't live up to expectations before.

i was skeptical too .. but saying aloud would have gotten be banned from this site... i think brees is a better game manager and has a better mental make-up, than culpepper... he seems to also be a born leader... look at what he's done in N.O. so far... c-pep may be the better athlete with the stronger arm... but lacks where it counts most ... up-stairs .. playing QB is as much mental as it is physical... i hope things improve

Check the spam folder to see what i thought about Daunte lol thats where all my stuff went

Things won't improve. This is what Culpepper does. He loses football games because he either makes stupid decisions and gets picked, or he makes no decisions at all and gets sacked. And he is also the most prolific fumbler in the NFL.

I am soooo impressed with you, which direction are you located so I can start bowing down to your greatness. NOT!

Saban took DC for many reasons, all of which I trust over your judgement any day. If you're so good, why didn't Huizenga hire you instead of Saban? I just can't understand it! Has Wayne contacted you yet about replacing Saban? Surely he'll be calling any minute.

There were a lot of people that thought that we should have gotten Brees instead of Pepper including myself, but the thing is we have Culpepper. We dont need every person that thought we should have gotten Brees to make a thread stating how they were so right. I understand your aggrovation, because us people that did want Brees were ridiculed, but its over and done with now. As of right now Brees looks like he would have been a little better option, who knows what it will look like in a year or two.

You can check my history too I also wanted brees but never thought c-pep would play this bad i think he is trying to hard .I give the guy credit he worked his @ss off to get here and now he cant even lead this team.Lets hope he improves ..

I hope it feels great. There is nothing more exhilerating than being right and pointing out5 the shortcomings of others. I'd rather be right than have the Dolphins win . Maybe you should update your resume and go for a GM job next offseason.

So far when it comes to our team you are far from the only person who has been right. You may be in the minority amongst fin fans but rival fans were telling us all offseason that.

1. Our Front 7 is too old.
2. Our O-LINE is a joke.
3. Culpepper is nothing without Moss.
4. Malarkey is the worst O coordinator ever.
5. Our secondary stinks.

So far, what about those statements is wrong?????? None of them.

I laugh when I think about how we used to bash Brad Childress, now Childress and his QB, which we feel is nowhere near as good as ours, is 2-0. Yeah we got that one right. I'm starting to think us finfans just don't know what we a re talking about.

They were a bunch of us that didn't and still don't like Culpepper. I responded to a post earlier in the year; that it seem to me that no one was allowed to say anything or voice concern about Culpepper. I wasn't really attacked but i was told that if you said anything about him negatively you had better be right or you would get roasted by fellow fans.. That was the kind of thing that many of us were up against when it came to Pep. I hope Saban can turn Pep around soon, i will continue to give him my support..it all seems to be mental with him.

I never posted it, But I wanted Culpepper and I still do. He is easily the best QB we have had since Marino. I guess you must not have watched any of the Vikings games when he was breaking records.

We don't have as much talent as those Vikings teams ( Cris Carter, Randy Moss, Robert Smith, Awesome O-line ). We need more talent to complement Culppeper.

He threw a bad interception. But didn't play that bad. The O-line stunk up the joint.

didn't like Culpepper coming out of college... I made no comment when they traded for him, but I was honestly very skeptical.

I'm sure he'll get better/more comfortable as time goes, but I'm afraid it won't be enough.

Normally I'd be one of the last to say "bring on the backup" and encourage a QB controversy because I know what that entails, but I honestly think Joey would be better.

Joey doesn't have the physical attributes of Daunte, but he won't make the mistakes Duante makes and he's got a decent gun himself.

If Culpepper plays this way for a 3rd week in a row, game 4 is Joey time.

This is just ridiculous. Not to point you out DorsalPhin but this is wrong. Did u guys see Joey Harrington play in Detroit? How can you conclude that he is better than Daunte Culpepper..

Culpepper has had 2 or 3 of the best seasons in NFL history. Harrington has done nothing.

Culpepper has made some mistakes but I would much rather have Culpepper than Harrington

What records? And, oh, I watched them. You didn't. If you did, you would know that Culpepper failed nearly EVERY TIME when it counted. You would know that Culpepper can't put a team on his shoulders and lead them down the field when they need it most. All you know is stats. Did Culpepper's stats take his team deep into the playoffs? No.

Why are you so hung up on stats, dude? I said it before, and I'll say it again, STATS DON'T WIN FOOTBALL GAMES!!!
