With all that has happened lately there are many ways to judge what has happened since Cam-Mueller have taken over.............

1. THE DRAFT - I believe we have a lot of potential with our draft picks this year!!! Something I have NOT felt in recent years!!! Speed in the position players and smarts and toughness on both lines.........Sounds good to me!!!

2. PLAYERS- Duante was handled as fairly to the team and DC as possible......We have known DC was gone when Cam-Mueller where brought in. As a team we have to rid the non-productive players. All Cam-Mueller have done is rid us of the baggage we had and started to rebuild from the inside out with a few exceptions (Ginn, Booker). It will be interesting to see how they handle Chambers situation (once all the fact are out), but they didn't have a problem demoting him to 2nd team after a few dropped passes in mini- camp!!! Perform, produce and respect or get out has been there motto so far.

3. NEW - Give them time........We have been screaming for change in philosophy for 10 yrs and all we have gotten is the same ol' stuff (JJ, Weinstead, Saban, Ricky Williams). Can't we let some change come in with THEIR QB and THEIR Players and THEIR schemes and THEIR coaches with THEIR changes and give them a chance????

Basically, I haven't been more impressed with this organization since Shula left!!!! We can only let so many players go and trade value is always an issue (M. Booker). We aren't even at TC and some of you want to fire them already...................give me a break!!!!:ninja:

I agree with your thoughts on their work so far. Now we just need to see if this all translates to a better product on the field. I have a much better feeling about RandyCam than I have had about any previous Staff after the Don.

Yay! Let's talk about how we like rainbows and kittens next. I'm optimistic too, but let's tone down the slurping. Let's wait for some results before we crown them the greatest thing since Shula. There have been positives and negatives this offseason. I dont think anyone should swing too far to any extreme about the job Camram is doing until the team actually plays a frickin game.

Im behind Cam, Randy, and Trent Green all the way. Unless they fail miserably like Culpepper. Then I will not be so big on them.

I really like their chances for success though. I can see the phins being the team of the decade and dominating the league for the next 10 years. A dynasty starting with Green winning back to back WORLD titles with us and handing it over to Beck.

Cam then beautifully manipulates personel while bringing in more younger guys on defense and adding to the offense so that the transitions keep us on top. From that point we completely dominate the decade of the 10's and win about 7 titles in 13 years. With 13 consecutive playoff seasons and 11 division titles including runs of 6 and 4 consecutive years. We sweep the Jets 10 of those 13 times and split the other 3. We lose only 2 games to the Bills in this stretch.(Hey didnt that seem like it actually happened over around a 20 year span with the bills.)

Compare them to our last regime (Saban alone). I didn't annoint them the next Shula regime, but it's a better start than we have had in a long time. How 'bout a 5th for Cecil the deisel??? And we love JJ???? It's been a good start so far that's ALL I SAID!!!!!!!:ninja::ninja::ninja:

People were very excited about JJ and Saban before the games started. The moves they made looked pretty good before any games were played. We should know better than to be quick to judge. Maybe more than any other franchise. In a few years if we've made it to the playoffs several times and hopefully won a title then let's high five each other and say Camram's the best thing since Shula.

I gotta disagree!! All i've seen since mueller got here, is mueller doin what he did in new orleans! and dont tell me he did a great, or good job, there in case nobody else has noticed the aints didnt start winning till mueller was axed!!!Allowing daunte's release without compensation is stupid! Allowing ricky to leave without compensation is just as stupid? You cant tell me there are no teams out there who wouldnt have given us something for them, even if we had to trade them both for one pick it would be better thatn what mueller got for them which is ZIP!!!!!!:azmang:

Didn't start winning until Mueller was axed? In the four years BEFORE Mueller arrived in New Orleans, the Saints were 3-13, 6-10, 6-10 & 3-13. In the three years Mueller was there, the Saints were 10-6 (and won their first ever playoff game), 7-9 & 9-7.

In case you didn't notice, they were trying to trade Culpepper but he wouldn't agree to be traded.

Wrong, the Saints went 10-6 and won their first ever playoff game while Randy was there in 2000 (which is exactly how well they did last year).

Mueller was on the right side of some big trades in his career, he got a high first rounder out of the bust QB Rick Mirer, he got two first rounders out of Miami while in New Orleans for the perpetual problem and pothead Ricky Williams.

He did a fine job in New Orleans, Tom Benson was just an idiot to let him go.

And if you don't understand the Culpepper and Williams situations, you haven't been paying enough attention.

I disagree also but I am ready to quit discussing it and wait and see what happens these next few months. They have made their moves Mueller has his coach, his players so unless we have at least a 6-10 season then its been a waste.

I completely lost faith in Saban during the panzee challenge flag incident. I am going to withhold judgement on Cam until I see him manage a few games as HC, and OC. All the personnel moves seem great so far but if this guy can't manage games in critical situations we are no better off than we were before.
That being said I am more excited about the direction we are going than I have been in the last 10 years.

It did happen with the Jills...we won 21 in a row against them in one stretch...

Sly...you are starting to sound like a troll base on some of your posts.... For instance, you obviously haven't been around the last 8 months and seeing what has been going on based on this post...Before you throw Mule to the wolves, at least get the facts right...

You know what I really fear about this whole thing is that by the time that our offense is really good our defense is going to be either to old or too young for our team to be dominate again. I like our D-Line getting younger, and our secondary is pretty young, but we really need to concentrate on the next few years on getting some young talent at the LB position.
