To me it seems like if we do decide to trade up on draft day that the Arizona Cardinals would make the most sense to do so with... So I was just thinking and I think this would be a decent trade for us and them..

We get:
10th OVR pick & QB Rohan Davey

Cards get:
16th OVR pick & R. Williams

I would def. be happy with a deal of that nature. Davey played for Saban in college and he was a guy that I wanted to pick up last offseason. Davey can flat out play as hes done when given the chance in minimal work with the Pats. Let me know what you guys think.

when rohan was a FA last year we didnt call him so, if the cardinals wanted to give something more substantial yes...Davey is not the QB of the future

if it was for Leonard Davis, or Adrian Wilson, or Karlos Dansby i wouldnt mind it

I think it's unhealthy for sane people to be exposed to many of these offseason trade posts.

Wow, simply wow!
Saban didn't even want his ex QB when he was a FA.

Now were packaging Ricky in a trade that includes acquiring Davey while moving up in the draft. All the while, realizing that most likely the only reason Saban would move up in the draft would be to acquire a QB IF he thinks a top guy is there.

Mind boggling.

Haha.. nobody would mind any of those 3 guys. I didnt mean it for Davey to be our franchise qb at all, I would love to take a QB in the draft, thats wat the 10th pick would do for us probably..

I think the point of the trade would be to get Cutler. Davey would be brought in to compete for third QB.

I would think that would be a fairly fair trade.

Not debating just simply asking.

If Arizona would indeed do that deal then they would have no problem trading straight up for Ricky for their 2nd. Now understandably this is hypothetical and in no way do I think Arizona would do this.

Why not take a DB in the 1st then possibly get a Croyle or A QB in the 2nd?

Davey is garbage. Atleast this way we get a possibly talent in the NFL.

Yeah the only problem is that as of now, Cutler isn't expected to make it past Detroit if he even falls that far. So he won't be there at 10

if we move up why not pick up a player who isnt going to be buried on our depth chart? someone who actually might sniff the field, lets think this through...

Yeah if we want Cutler that bad, we better get to where Oakland is at with the #6. Oakland can go many ways, and Cutler is one of them. If Oakland doesn't pick him, I wouldnt be surprised if Detroit does. If we're gonna move up, we need to move up to #6

Rohan Davey???? :sidelol: Who dat?
