I cannot believe that people who actually play football for a living who actually have the freedom to practice what they love, whether coaching, or playing, appear to be so inept.

The average blue-collar working man who truly loves his family, figures out a way each and every day and each and every week to provide and put food on the table to be adaptable, versatile, diversified, to become whatever is needed to take care of his family.
In the real world there is no fail. You have to come through every day or you don't survive. It's not rocket science.

Wouldn't it be great if the Miami Dolphins had this strategy!

Football players are millionaires...not blue collar.

No major sports work that way.

Difference is, these player are directly competing against someone else who is also trying to earn his keep...

The other teams have players too...

And as a whole the entire NFL is garbage. The product is getting worse and you can point to the CBA as the cause of the issue. Limited practices, limited hitting, lack of player development. It's not a Miami Dolphins issue it's an NFL issue. I used to wait till week 4 or 5 to start seeing better football be played but this year it didn't happen...bad football is still being played in week 13 of the season. The Monday night game between Washington and Dallas was awful football...some of the worst football this year. The whole NFC East is a joke of terrible football. It's no wonder the Dolphins are 5-2 outside or their division (and we should be 7-0 if not for a terrible game against the Cowboys and Jags).

Right now the NFL has a bad product and if they don't fix it soon they'll end up like the NBA which is unwatchable for me...worst brand of basketball being played in the world IMO.

Was thinking along the same lines last night ... actually sent this tweet to Breer after the game ended..

@AlbertBreer horrible football being played this year. Thanks CBA.
