It kinda makes me mad that through all the game, everyone decided to play like they need to in the last 6 minutes of play. In the whole game they played with a lack of energy and a lack of effort which they needed to give through all the game and we ended up being defeated by one of the worst teams in the league. I can't put these words any sweeter but this organization goes down the drain as years goes on. Yes its a lost but a lost that is hard to swallow because this team had great expectations before the season started. We finally have a good quarterback but the front office decided that our current offensive line players are good enough to play in this league.

Obviously after seeing Daunte on his face for most of the time this season it leads me to believe that if we weren't in need of lineman then these guys would need to be released as soon as possible. I mean we have Damion Mcintosh playing guard today and we have Lj Shelton blocking horrible for us half of the plays. Our offensive line is just about one of the worst I have ever seen in the last couple of years with the Texans being par on par with it. I mean we have all these comical failures starting in our lines except for Jeno James and we choose not to improve it. This is the same type of crap we had to deal with freaking Dave Pornstache and I hope this is addressed next season.

My other mentions are toward the players giving up easily because of the horrible Offensive line play. I can start with Daunte, I know it sucks to be on your back and face all the time but the least he can do is have his voice heard along the coaching staff and have him design more plays for him to move out of the pocket and throw off. This team is not even playing him to the best of his abilities. We know Daunte is mobile and not a statue on the ground that has no where to go. The texans figured out he would sit there 100 percent of the time and not move and that's why they were sending out so many blitzes despite the horrible offensive blocking.

This organization is still in the same path as it was with Dave, we have these key positions that we invest little on and we get hammered every year while our star defensive players struggle to even go to the afc championship.

Good Nite

I feel you bro. I think we are all in shock. especially those that bought into all the s.i. and espn hype b4 the season started. IT sucks thats for sure, but there is always hope, and b4 we start counting up the potential losses on the schedule for the remainder of the year, lets remember that we are ONLY a quarter of the way in.. it can change... we started out mad ugly last year...

it can change.

good night.

I have to agree with this. Steve Tasker (announcer for the game) also made the same statement during the game. And when he said it, he couldn't have been more correct.

We need to play with a sense of urgency ALL THE TIME!! Not just when we're down by two scores! Saban has made reference to this ever since he's been here, but it hasn't translated onto the field this year.

Yep. The most frustrating part is we have alot of skill players (playmakers if you will) in key spots and definately have the talent to be a good team. Unfortunately, we're missing impact/skill players at two of the most vital areas of a football team.....oline and secondary.

good news! other than the right guard thing, no serious injuries this year! which means it's talent and coaching. now we just have to figure out how to fix it?
