We are giving the Raider's 10.5 points, the second highest spread this week behind Carolina giving Detriot 14... Wow, I cant remember the last time we were favored so heavily... (Lets see if USA Today drops us another 3 spots if we win-hate to see what theyd do to us if we lose )

The dolphins will win, but they're pass is is solid, and we haven't been running the ball well enough for me to say that we will score alot that way.

Don't be. The bookmakers don't put too much stock into the previous game like most fans do. 1 game is not a large sample size.

Look at what west coast teams have done this year when traveling east:

Oakland:
Loss @ Buff, @ NO, @ BAL

San Diego:
Loss @ MIA, @ BUF and @ NO

San Francisco:
Loss @ NO, and @ NYG

Seattle:
Loss @ BUF, @ NYG, @ TB and MIA

Not a single win! I understand these west coast teams aren't exactly powerhouses but one win amongst the group wouldn't shock anyone. Teams typically traveling this far east play poorly because of the long travel time and effect of the time change.

Take a look at a much better team that throttled us in their house, Arizona. Didn't Arizona stay out east between their WAS and NYJ games? Even that didn't work as they lost both. Those two eastern games have counted for two of their three losses. Their third loss... in CAR. Make that 3-3.

Vegas wants ONE thing.

They want an equal number of Raiders bets as Fins bets.

The line has nothing to do with how good or bad they think teams are, it has to do with how good or how bad the public perception of these teams are.

If the spread was only 6 bets would come in lopsided. So in order to balance it out they give Oakland alot of points.

I hope we do cover, we need a nice big win. We should win, but I doubt we will cover that big of a spread.
