I can understand Gloria Estefan becoming a part owner but other then that the rest of this circus that Stephan Ross is operating is completely getting in the way of not only my fan-hood but many, the insanity of Stephan Ross is starting to make me wonder how much he is actually in touch with reality.

This all hit me while watching the pre-season game the other night and after scoring a touchdown they played the Jimmy Buffet fight song while two fat guys danced to the song (holding their hands over their heads like a "Fin" I guess) honestly it looked like two mental patients doing...something

This is seriously starting to questioning my fan hood and those of you who have watched my video's on youtube know that I am a true fan. You can see the effort I put into those, I've been a die-hard fan for so long. My room in Orange and Teal, I have at least ten jerseys.

But now we have to hear a Jimmy Buffet "fight song" after we score a touchdown now. Just put that in the same sentence - Jimmy Buffet and Fight Song.

Those of you who actually get off of the computer and have been to a game or Miami know that people are upset over this and Stephan Ross is losing fans. The T-Pain version is not actually that bad because it's the original version of the song just to his style.

This is so depressing.

I just want people on here to know there are actually die-hard fans very upset with Stephan Ross at the moment.

Have you tried the dance? It's super fun!!!!!! :foundout:

Ah hell I don't really like it either really. I find it to be a bit of a circus but it will never change the fact that I am a Dolphin fan.

After all I survived through Wannstedt, I'm sure I can tolerate this.

This is ridiculous. There is no reason to be upset as long as it doesn't interfere with the product on the field.

As long as we win, I don't care if curious George owns the team.
Funny, very funny, and I agree. As long as he stays out of the Trifecta's way,and he will, let him experiment. I danced to the old fight song to the embarasement of wife and kids. Stay enthusiastic and loud at the games dude, don't let the new song get you down.

I can't believe that some of you guys get so distraught over business transactions that have no effect on the football operation. Do you really think the coaching staff, players or Parcells give a rats a$$ about a fight song?

Ross leaves the Trifecta alone. A football clueless owner that delegates beats the hell out of a football clueless owner who meddles i.e. Jerry Jones, Woody Johnson, Ralph Wilson, Al Davis, William Clay Ford, etc....................

Who cares. Huzienga owned the team for awhile and we won zero championships. This has nothing to do with me as a fan. Now maybe i he brought in R kelly as owner I might have something to say about it

Jimmy Buffet is lame crap Key West schmaltz and the rest of the washed-up has-beens as part owners are incredibly corny and a transparent ploy… Whoever the “marketing genius” is they should be fired as soon as possible. Oh wait, that’s Ross…

:rimshot:

Well these die hard fans need to do something to get behinds (not the word I wanted to use) in the stands then.

The bottom line is that not enough Fins fans in Florida have been going to the games consistently. It's embarassing as a Fins fan in Connecticut to have to hear about Jets and Patriots fans filling up the stadium when we play those teams.

If we had enough people going to the games and selling them out on a consistent basis, we wouldn't have to do things like change the fight song, and bring in celebrity owners.

can we get a merge?

this opinion is no more profound than any of the others in the thread that already existed on the subject.

You forgot Mike Brown of the Bengals. They don't even HAVE a gm because he is it.

Honestly, fight songs have no business in pro football to begin with. They're awesome in college since a band in the stands is playing it, in all sports. There's also pageantry to go along with it. But in the pro football it's just an old recording over a speaker. A college fight song means a lot more to an alumnus than a pro one does to a fan.

I agree

Who cares? I'm there to watch football. I'll go to the concessions during their lame halftime concerts like a real fan does.
