angry then I was after the Saints game this season, but then we came out for the 2nd half against Pitt. First Henne quits on this season and his team. Brady played today with 3 broken ribs, and Henne did not put on an eye patch and try to keep this season going. Our idiot coaching staff tried to play the option instead of playing a real QB in Thigpen. Now pour White is in the hospital, and our offense was invisible for the 3rd quarter. We are in the process of a comeback, but if this team did not concede the 3rd quarter we wouldn't need a comeback. What a joke! Chad and Sparano should be embarrassed.

Hold up...

Henne QUIT on this team? Get it straight man...

Dude has an eye injury. That's all you or I know. So YOU have determined the severity of the injury based on what LITTLE bit of information you have.

I am going to get banned for this, but this maybe the stupidiest thing ever said on this board. Who are you the man's doctor? R u an eye doctor?

OP seriously? Henne quit? Scratched cornea isn't something you mess with, if you want a future of having sight in both eyes.

And a real qb in Thigpen, compared to White yes. But that INT that Thigpen threw is par for the course on him. Do some freaking research on a player before saying such things. Thigpen has alot of tape to watch. He has his own limitations and struggles. And that INT was case in point!

this thread makes my blood boil.... i wanna go off on the OP but clearly he just doesn't get it and its not worth it on to the next thread cause this one is foolish

I could say so much right now about this pathetic post. However, I don't want to get banned. Actually something good has come out of it. I hated to see Pat White get hurt, my prayers are with him. It did however showcase who the number 2 QB should be. Pat White made John Beck looklike Marino, and Thigpen regardless of the int showed he can move the O, with very limited practice and time with the team. The Henne quiting statement is probably the dumbest thing I have ever read on here.

HAHAHA i agree with you about Pat white man but seriously?! you think Henne made the decision to come out?!?! you must be crazy. I think this "eye injury" is most likely bull****. Our coaches and probably parcells were scared that Henne could get a major injury after seeing him get sacked hard a few times. IMO HENNE IS FINE! maybe he does have a real eye injury but I think our coaches and management saw that even if we did make the playoffs, we weren't going anywhere. So they took out Henne and started saving up for next season.

Putting pat white in, for what will be in all likelyhood his last play in the NFL, was an unnaceptable coaching move. very disturbing

It could have been a coaches desicion too, to see what Pat White can do. We did. I hateed that such a good guy got hurt, but I think it was pretty embarassing the way the O looked. Did you see the moves Thigpin made? I think we have our new Wildcat QB and 2nd stringer. My prayers go out to Pat White.

We are what our record sez we is.... And maybe it's a good thing, to see the other Qb's play...see their limitations. We saw # 91 get lit up on the screen pass.

you sure do win

Henne did not quit on his team, he had an eye injury and perhaps the coaches didn't feel like putting him back in harms way was a good idea. Eye injuries can be serious, so lets just hope it isn't.

I'm glad that "real QB" Thigpen lead us the promise land! lol

At the same time though, that hit could have taken out many players in this league, even the bigger ones. Even if White was 6'3" and 220 lbs., he couldn't protect his head there. He was tripped up and vulnerable. Nobody really could have done anything in that situation, and it was just a very unfortunate incident.

I don't believe for a second that the coaching staff pulled Henne to give White some playing time. I sincerely hope White is ok but he shouldn't be the second string QB. We wasted most of the 3rd quarter with a QB that cant run an NFL offense.
