First we were told that Tannebaum and Grier will be responsible for finding players and Gase will have final say over the 53 man roster..:err: I put that to my nosey and it didn't smell so rosey! Why? because it makes absolutely NO SENSE! Example, Tannebaum and Grier trade for Maxwell and Kiko. Lets say they get in OTA's and Training camp and aren't that good.... Can Gase get rid of them? Can he bench them in favor of other players on the roster? OF COURSE NOT!!! So the idea that he has final say over the 53, but not who we sign in the first place is stupid.

Secondly, one of the first things Grier told us was that he liked our QB but was big on competition and wanted to add competition to that position. soooo are we to believe that logan Thomas and Matt Moore really have a shot at starting? Not just here but ANYWHERE IN THE LEAGUE?

I am sure that NO ONE on any team has %100 final say on anything - that would be dumb.. Its a committee and it should be.

As for QB - Although I really didn't want Moore back the job is Tannehill's this year no matter what due to his contract. I think Moore as a backup is nothing better than Fine - He isn't going to beat out Ryan anyway.

So Matt Moore is going to bring competition to the position? If not, why must the new HC make such statements? Gase should have just said, Ryan is the real deal, needs no competition and I (Gase) will make him elite.

I believe the HC and GM are on the same page. And if not...
 
The coach will decide who gets cut and who remains. He can't scout players and sign them to contracts.
 
That traed Will be decided by If They get injured or not . There aren't any players that would take Kiko Alonso's spot if he's healthy . So I don't know what you're worried about that.
