The fact that we lost a game that we really should have won or the typical knee-jerk reactions on here that people actually think that we have a superbowl caliber team.

Bottom line here is that you either win the superbowl or your season is a waste. That being said, since we are no-where even close to a superbowl caliber team, then why all the whining and crying about this loss?

Sure we should have won but I saw this after brown scored the td. I think anyone who has been a dolphins fan for awhile knows the "feeling" of a game when we can't stop someone. I kept telling myself as porter was barreling down on schaub in the final minute to "show me that we are different dolphins team" but alas we are still the same. Sure we have grown somewhat but we are rebuilding and quite frankly have overachieved the last two weeks.

Me personally, I want miami to win no more than 4-5 games this year so we are put in another great spot to secure more great talent for the future. Winning 8-10 games and missing the playoffs while riding a glimpse of hope, only to be dominated in the first round of the playoffs (if you even get there) is more heartbreaking than this loss in my opinion.

I am as diehard of a dolphins fan as the rest of you but I also know the sky is blue and don't try to call it powder blue. The dolphins are rebulding and nothing more. Don't get yourselves all worked up over nothing. Should we have won? Yes, however what you seen today is what separates us from the next level. Other teams create their own luck and make the plays to win games. We can't yet and it showed today.

On that note...oh noes the sky is falling!! Cut roth and trade ronnie brown while your at it....

You can't be that big of a fan if you don't want us to win more than 4 games so we can get a good draft place. What kind of fan roots for his team to LOSE? I never have and never will understand this way of thinking. You go out there an play to win every single down and you leave it all on the field and if you still lose after all that then they where the better team that day. You don't lose games NOW to have a better draft so we can win games LATER.

Perhaps Detroit or Cincinnati are teams more to your liking.

i think the new trend in 'knee jerk' reactions is the "its not that bad, u should be happy we doubled last years wins" thread

The difference between myself and you is that I UNDERSTAND the dolphins for what they are. I gave up years ago getting pissed at them and ruining my day and the week. We lost, big deal, get over it. It isn't like we are that great of a team.

I feel sorry for people who cannot get past the notion that we are rebuilding and it must really suck to sit in bed late at night stewing over a loss on a team that really is lucky to even have 2 wins as we speak.

We can rag on detroit and cincy all we want but how many "w's" do they have in the past 23 games? Also you can bet your a** I want our F.O. to be able to pick in the top 10 next year along with our other 2 2nd round picks and so on. Given parcels track record at bringing guys in and coaching them along, I want all the talent we can get.

Suck it up and get ready for next week and stop playing madden. If it makes you feel any more of a true fan, I have been a dolphins fan longer than you have been alive.

This is why guys like Justin Smiley should keep their yaps shut about playoffs and the Superbowl. Smiley got his rearend handed to him yesterday, so maybe he needs to do more playing and less talking.

Spoken like a true fan.

I don't play Madden. Maybe you need to stop playing Madden because losing the rest of the season and getting a good draft position isn't reality. This is still a buisness.

Yes because you are a whole 4 years older than me. nice.

I agree. Why do players always feel the need to run their mouth as soon as things start going well? That is just stirring up the bee's nest in the locker room when we lose.

Urrrm. I'm sorry but how does the realisation that we aren't a great team, or heaven forbid, not 6 months since we were a 1 and 15 team, a bad one make him not a true fan?

It makes him a realist. That's all.

No he lost all credibility when he said he hopes we don't win more than 4 games so we have a higher draft position.

We should play to win NOW and not to play to lose for the draft so we can win later.

I'm sure he wasn't urging on Schaub last night.

The point he is making that we'd be better off with 4 wins this season than overachieving, making the playoffs and having no chance of progressing with 8 wins. So last night's loss isn't the end of the world. Every cloud and all that.

It could be the difference between Darelle Revis and Jason Allen. And that's a decent point.

I think what you meant to say is that I lost all credibility with YOU which means what exactly??

You read more into what I was saying. I want us to win but I also am one of the few that sees our team for what they really are. Oh and I a slept pretty good because of it and yesterdays game was just one of many and I am focused on baltimore.

How was your morning? Still replaying that Schaub run into the endzone? Still sheading dolphins tears? How about endless replays of bell not taking the correct position on the 4th down play to johnson?

yeah.....
