Up to this point Chamber's season has been average at best. Never before has he had such a lackluster first 1/2 season. I could be way off base but I don't think that Chambers is behind Gus. He(Chambers) has always made the crazy catches or the one handed grab before, but I just don't see that fire in him anymore. If Chambers does not believe in Gus, could this be his way of showing displeasure? Now if Chambers comes out and has his best game of the year with Sage at the helm, on Sunday will Gus be asking where the hell is Chris Chambers and who is that wearing his Jersey?

You seem to be suggesting that Chambers isn't catching the ball because he doens't like Gus.

If that's the case, bench or cut Chambers immediately.

I'll be clear, I don't think this is the case at all, I think Chambers is inconsistent, not a team cancer trying to make his own decisions on when he plays and when he does not.

This is the way Chambers always is. It doesnt have anything to do with the QBs.

Hes an average, inconsistant reciever.

Anyone remember (I think before the season started) McMike used to side with Frerotte. . . wonder if he still does. I'd imagine all the WRs are fed up with him. . .
and there's no excuse for Chambers' four drops, hopefully his season gets better.

I think if anything Chambers just dosnt have good chemistry with Gus. No matter how much a receiver dosnt like his qb he wont drop balls on perpose, even T.O. tried his best to catch everything thrown at him.

Well I have a feeling that Chambers will be inspired playing in front of his family and friends this Sunday since he's from Cleveland.

Chambers just isn't that good. He's inconsistent and he's overpaid. He has all the talent in the world, but he just doesn't have a mastery over the mental aspect of the game.

I'm not trying to say that Chambers is dropping the passes purposely. That would be an unacceptable crime punishable by death. What I am saying is that Chambers is not fighting for the ball. He is not going after the ball with the same tenacity that he used to. Like I said, I could be way off, but he just doesn't look like the same receiver.

If there is any player at this level "throwing plays" or not giving his best effort because he doesn't like another player is definitely not someone we need on this team. I doubt that is the case. I think CC is just pressing too much and its effecting him. Maybe he's thinking too much about dropping balls, and it's causing him to continue to drop passes. He wants to be a playmaker badly, I doubt he would not try to catch every ball.

Hes a great WR theres no doubting that. But you cant call him one because he doesnt show up all the time.

I basically contradicted myself and probably only made sense in my mind but its all good.

I also have wondered if the new system is bothering him. When a wr isnt comfortable in a system it usually results in thinking too much and not just playing the game like you should. I guess he might just not be comfortable with the new qb either. Hopfully as the year goes on he will get more comfortabel and his concentration will improve.

It is a team game, so if any one goes in that situation, i am afraid it would have to be Cc. Having said that I dont believe CC to be like that, and if he has a great game Sunday, it will be down to the playcalling not the QB :(

Chambers has never faught for the ball. He looks the same to me. He looks great one game and horrible the next. He lacks concentration.
