Even though I thought that this was a great game and we played really well on both sides of the ball you have to keep in mind we beat jax and kc last year in preseason. This is only preseason. That being said I am not trying to take away from the win tonight I am just saying I hope the players keep this up through the season...

(and ginn runs 10 more back for TDs)

I know what you mean, but we never looked this good last year or the year before in the preseason. The only thing that catches my eye is that the starting defense has not been scored on since the first pre-season game.
 
yea that is true... we only won by one point in each of the games last year and our defense is developing nicely
 
Our defense didn't look nearly as good last year. We were not pressuring the QBs and we were allowing teams to run all over us.

We did not have an oline that had given 0 sacks or Ricky or Pennington. Ginn was looking like a bust and Martin sucked. Atleast tonight Fasano looked good. Penington moved the chains are o-line was soid and ricky continued to run.

I totally understand we dont want to jinx ourselved, but you cant help but be optomistic.
 
Ginn has defitnetly improved and is making an argument to become the number one reciever in this team. We shall see. His KR?PR skills have always been there, but he has clearly improved as a reciever.
 
There are 2 big differences between this preseason and last

1) Our first team players are winning the battles with the opposition 1st team, rather than leaving it to the 2nds and 3rds to win the games

2) The players all look to be playing with a real purpose and aggression.

it has been night and day for this team relative to anything we have seen here in a long long time
