RD 1) Morgan Moses RT -Although I want Zach Martin I think hes gone. Moses familiarity with Lazor lands him here
RD 2)Austin Sefarian Jenkins TE -Not the seam threat really but think Red Zone and big middle of field target...and can block
Rd 3)Jeremy Hill -RB Lsu- This is the guy we need to pair with Moreno and Miller. Good Size Thumper. I think hes the best power back in draft.
Rd 4)Shane Skov LB Stanford- He might not be here but I think he will. Great instincts. Allows us to move Ellerbe outside.
Rd 5)Michael Schofield RT Michigan-Ross gets an Alum..we get a decent line prospect.
Rd 6)Aaron Murray QB Ga.-Im starting to think he wont be here...Decent Qb prospect. Very Accurate

Ive adressed the needs and would try to plug a vet FA like Milner in at RG. Fire Away boys. Mock Virgin.

19 is going to be too high for Moses....We will have a shot at Zach Martin or one of the linebackers (Mosely & Shazier) or one of the top corners may slip.

If they trade down Moses may come into play.

I will jump off the highest bridge if we take Moses at 19. The rest isn't bad.

Thanks for your replies....Im not high on Moses either Id much rather have Martin.

no to moses in the first i love asj, and hill, there is no way skov last untill the 4th imo, and do not mind the rest

I believe Lazor was gone from Virginia by the time Moses came in, so idk how much "ties" they have between one another, i'm sure he knew who he was while recruiting.

My #1...in order of preferance

OT Jake Matthews
OT Greg Robinson
OT Taylor Lewan
DE Jadeveon Clowney (too good at #19...trade Vernon)
WR Mike Evans....(game changer IMO....trade a receiver)
WR Sammy Watkins(see above)
OT Zach Martin (future all pro G IMO)
OLB Khalil Mack
OLB Anthony Barr
OLB CJ Mosley
TE Eric Ebron
OLB Ryan Shazier
CB Justin Gilbert
S Haha Clinton-Dix
DE Dee Ford
DT Aaron Donald
WR Odell Beckham
WR Kelvin Benjamin

I included NO QB's on that list....and I assume at least 3 will go above us, plus at least another corner and maybe Jace Amaro. So I assume at the very least the last 4 or 5guys will be on the list. I'd prefer to trade down if that's the case, but if I can't get a good partner, I'd take the highest rated on the board. Then I'd see which of our guys I could trade and go with either Donald/Ford or Benjamin(nice red zone target)

that's incorrect...he played under him for multiple years at uva

Any mock that has us taking Moses at 19 gets a NO in my book.

Thanks for the effort thought.

My comments.

1st Round - (Moses), While RT is a big need and Moses would fill that need, 19 is just WAY to high to take Moses. He is not a elite prospect, and if OT is the selection in the first round, I would rather trade up a few slots to grab Lewan or Martin.

2nd Round - (Jenkins) - Austin Sefarian Jenkins or ASJ for short here at FH, lacks open field speed which would make him a short route and red-zone target only. He is big and strong but not Jimmy Graham fast. While we could use ASJ, he would basically replace Sims/Egnew as another short route TE. This team needs the seam TE, open field TE. I would look at Colt Lyrela in the 4th or 5th round. Colt should be a 1st-2nd round pick but his off-field issues have dropped him, guy is basically a Gronk clone. With some solid mentoring Colt could become the steal of the draft years down the road.

3rd Round - J. Hill - Hill would fit the "beast" RB we so desperatly need. Type of running that grabs the rock and slams into the lane with reckless abandonment. He is everything D. Thomas is not. Hill, is another red-flag prospect that I am not sure the Fins would like to take on after the Martin/Incog fiasco. I would be more than happy with Hill in the 3rd (of course if we cover OL needs with first two picks). Then again, any draft pick that results in D. Thomas no longer wearing a Fins uniform would be welcomed with cheer at FH.

4th Round - Skov - Mixed feelings on the pick. Skov is projected as a 3-4 ILB and a two down LB at that. While he would provide depth, I feel we should adress LB in the 1/2 round if we truly are that desperate to get rid of Wheeler and move over Ellerbe. I'm thinking Borland in the second round if we can snatch up OT with the first. Or flip it for Mosley in the first and OT in the second.

5th Round - Schofield - Good late round OL pick. Schofield can play both OT/OG which is a plus on versatility. Not much to complain about.

6th Round - Murray - Never a big fan of drafting late round QB's (spare me the Brady one-in-a-billion chance stuff). Murray would be nothing more than competition for Devlin and thats something plenty of UDFA can be brought in to do. Moore wont be getting cut even thought his cap number is a bit high. We are not in cap trouble and have plenty to roll over for next year. Rather target another "long shot" BPA.

Why would be looking at Barr or Mack?

Both are strictly 3-4 OLB. Already have Jordan, Vernon, Wake at DE if thats the plan.

Good job Rookie!!!! I like Moses but I just think at #19 that is a little early for him. I am still hoping we can draft Martin to play RG or RT. Maybe Lewan will drop to us as some are concerned about his character. I like Chris Borland of Wisconsin in Round Two. I know some people are tired of the comparisons with Zach Thomas, but when you watch him play that is exactly who he looks like. A small mike with a non-stop motor. We need a sure tackler and Borland is it. I like Sefarian-Jenkins at TE and Hill at the RB spot. Good job.

I as well want Martin or Mosely ....but I was thinking Martin will be gone and they will panic and go Moses. Believe me I dont like him there either. I just feel hes their guy. The rest of the picks are my guys...LOL.

I don't know why everyone thinks 19 is to high for Moses, guy is NFL rdy and plays position we are desperate to fill. I'm a huge bpa guy, but if we don't protect tannehill, bpa won't matter much and people ad everyone here is going to wonder why we didn't fill that need if our line looks like it did last year.

As for the rest of the draft I'd be estatic if that happened. But that would take far to many things to fall our way. The value is about right, but it's just not realistic all those guys fall in our lap like that.

Because you can get a RT on the same level as Moses in the 2nd/3rd round.
