I guess R. Brown will be a holdout...look @ end.

Theres no need for it, and my guess is that its his agent's choice to hold out, not Ronnie's.

I was under the impression he was only holding out until Alex Smith signed his deal. Then the rest of the top picks have a baseline for salary negotiations.

If that's the case, we shouldn't have a problem.

why is lamar at top off the depth chart what about ricky lamar is coming off an injury a season ending at that ricky is healthy rested and back close to his playing weight to me it makes no sense

Because Lamar was actually on this team last year!

You guys hold Ronnie Brown to the same level of godliness as you do Saban. Ronnie Brown is probably deciding along with his agent to hold out. Ronnie Brown is not god. Ronnie Brown is a greedy player like the rest of the top picks. Ronnie Brown will not be starting week 1, and after Week 4 may not start the rest of the year.

What a great shining beacon of optimism. Thanks for inspiring us all.

so your saying hes a better back then ricky

not better but more dependable and more stable.

i wouldn't be suprised if Ricky wakes up one day during the season and say's my heart isn't in the game (which really means i'd rather be smoking dope) so i'm retiring...again!!! you can't trust him...period. and the ONLY reason why he's coming back is becuase of $$$ he needs it...he needs to pay child support...he needs money for his kids trust funds...he owe's the Fins org. $8.6 million for breach of contract...he won't have to pay it if he plays. its all BS when he say's he misses the game...he misses and needs the $$$.

Go Fins!!!

RB holding out would be the dumbest thing he could do. He better be playing come game one or he may regret it. If he sits out the season I am all for cutting him. Gordon getting the starts with Kay Jay and then Ricky after game 4 may depreciate what Ronnie will get.

I am a hockey fan and just finished watching a year where no player got paid. If Ronnie is a fan of a 24 percent paycut after a year like the NHLers got I hope he goes for it.

Players need to want to play the game, the money will follow. I mean its not like he is going to sign for the league minimum? I am sure the Dolphins are offering a little more LOL!

No just a realist.

Ronnie is not a greedy person, or player. It's just the nature of the business.

Didn't you just read that article that came out about him? If Mother Theresa would have ran a 4.3 and weighed 230 lbs her agent would have tried to get the best deal for her too.

I dont think I will be ordering my Ronnie Brown jersey just yet....maybe have to go for an Orange Welker jersey or a Matt Roth now. :shakeno:
