I see alot of people saying our run game wasnt that good against the Ravens. You are right it wasnt that good. They just did more of what the Texans were doing, stacking the box. Now we all know if it was Tom Brady behind our center theres no way teams would keep bringing that many players up. Why? Because Brady would be launching deep balls all day long, in fact i think he did that to us last year. The run game will suffer with Pennington, the key is to find other ways to make the DB'S and LB'S drop back into coverage. If you really want to see deep balls they are gonna have to put Beck or Henne in. Both are good at doing this, i would have to give Beck the edge though because of his accuracy. Other then that they can both get in the shotgun chuck it. Would be fun to see.

Not many teams are going to be successful running right at the Ravens. I can see Miami doing some things against the Bills. This is the first time in a long time that I am more worried about the D.

Accuracy? Do you mean his accuracy at hitting the turf with the ball with every fumble? Or his accuracy in hitting defensive backs right between the numbers?

If you have no fear of the deep pass you can have the safetys hang out in the box and play the run or " ahm" jump the short routes for a pick 6. I like what Penny has done so far but it's time to see if we have a better option, Henne. Nothing like a little on the job traning.

i was really down on how we attempted to run the ball.with the cat we where always running wide=bad bad move.i know we would have a hard time but we should have run ronnie 15-20 times.we got hit behind the line when we where going wide,but not that much straight.why did penny run the cat?with ronnie at qb we have an extra blocker, we could have used that.i just wanted to see some quick hitters straight ahead with ronnie.some old fashioned football.ronnie vs ray.at worst we could have gone to a 4-5 wr set,spreading out the ravens on 1st and 2nd.then run the ball .with 8 in the box this is another way to try and get it done.some strange play calling,but what do i know.just looking for some answers,other than henne.
