And I'm not completely being negative here, but is this team almost the total opposite of what you thought they would be? I have been a Dolphins fan for a long time, and I can't remember a year that I was thrown off so bad in my predictions of what this team is about.

Some people say a win is a win...but when you barely beat a crappy team quarterbacked by Kerry Collins you cannot feel that great. We may be 2-2 after next week, but we need to play a whole lot better than this. :rolleyes2

Welcome to being a fan. If every team went to the super bowl every year nobody would ever get excited. Our time will come!

I don't go into every season saying we're going to the Super Bowl. I'm just saying, we are looking pathetic. I figured we'd win at least 11 with this schedule and our team but right now I'd be surprised if we won 10.

Well it could be worse, we could be 0-3. Were 1-2, now on to the TEXANS!!!:dolphins:

Well, the last team I was so sure about and in the end was way off was the 2002 or 2003 team. We had Ricky coming off 1800 yards, just signed Seau, had a killler secondary in Madison/Surtain/Marion, Zack and Jason, Fiedler to manage the game, and Chambers and McMichael.

And we did not even make the playoffs.

Your not alone in being completely confused with where this team is right now. Everything seems to be in place from the coaching to the players but for whatever reason it is not clicking, it is not working right now.

We're all abviously dissapointed in Culpepper thus far, and the worst thing is nobody is quite sure what exactly is wrong with him?? Is it the playcalling, OL, or health??

I'm still trying to figure out how we nearly beat the Steelers. We put up 17 points on them, where is that Miami offense at??

i'm with you on that. this offense is worst than feeley feildler days....i have to get out my pep voodoo doll and insert some needles... our only hope is if joey can step in and step it up. I think pep came back too soon. It ain't going to happen for him this year.

1995 is as close as I can remember to this year's team.

Going in the season I never thought we will make it to the SB, but I truly believed that we made some big strides last season to catupult this team in the playoff hunt. Heck I thought we would at least get 10 wins (guaranteed) due to the easy schedule and like I said on what I saw last year.
This past 3 games I feel that we have regressed rather that made significant progress for each and every week. I mean the game vs Steelers we hung in their toe to toe till what about 61/2 mins left in the 4th quarter. Then as everyone know we just collapsed int he 4th quarter we were that close in beating the world champs in their own house.

Then the Bills comes in and like most everyone here thought it was a gimme. But that wasnt the case, I mean we almost got shut out. They sacked us like crazy 7 times vs the steelers which only sacked us 3 times.
And now the perennial power house Titans comes in, and again we didnt show any sparks at all. We barely won this one folks dont kid yourself if it wasnt for some overthrown balls from Collins, I'd hate to say it but it would have been another L for us.

Im sure everyone knows our O line blows and again they proved that again ronnie had like what 24-26 carries and can onlyn show 90 yard for it. Consistency is the key here and again the Oline proved by constantly getting Cpep harrased. Now before I go towards the D, doesnt our O play looks like we are just doing simple short routes? Why is that? Oh yeah I forgot the oline.:shakeno: Now its official our O play is so close with the wanny years, close but not quite, because we do have a cannon back there in Cpep. Also where the heck is Mcmichael I don't think we even threw his way till the middle of the 3rd quarter. Ok enough with the O.

The D yea I know people seem to think they played great, but I dont think so yea 10 pts but then again its Tennessee folks enough said. I know that Henry only ran like 60 odd some yards, but man he was getting 4-5 yards a pop. And like I said earlier the Pass d wasnt spectacular either they only shined due to fact that of that last turnover by daniels which again was over thrown Collins there were numerous chances for the titans to seal the deal because theire wr were getting open but Collins would just over throw the wr. And what about our Blitz package what the heck is that? :tantrum: we rush like 5-6 guys at a time and we just get stuck there how is that? Man I envy our opponents they rush 4-5 and they get in or at least create pressure.

I know it wont be popular but todays win just proved to me how bad this team is. I hope and I mean I truly hope that somehow somewhere we get our groove on soon. I dont want to see anymore regression on a weekly basis. Next stop for us is the Texans if the redskins could finally get their monkey off their back by their O finally producing like today then I say this would be a good barometer for our Offense. But if its going to be a grind out affair like today against the Texans then prepare yourself for a long season. Man I really wish I would be wrong on my analysis, Ill be glad to eat crow anytime. Because at the end of the day Im still Dolfan.:dolphins:

I thought we were going to put the beat down on the crappy teams and be in it until the end with the good ones. I really didn't think Culpepper would be as bad as he is.

Yep, I really thought (Before preseason) that they could win the division at least. Then I watched the preseason games and I knew the OL was bad, Culpepper wasn't Culpepper, and our secondary was weak. My expectations weren't that great once the real games began. This team will probably finish with about 3 more wins but I'll be rooting for them each time. If they win more than 4 games I'll be surprised and happy.

GO PHINS~!

I was feeling pessimistic before Sunday, but after attending the game Sunday, I am feeling very negative about the offense in particular. They are just horrible. Daunte looks totally lost in the pocket, like he has no idea what he should be doing, and the injury can't totally explain that. This season is going to suck.
