2. do we draft/pick a stud rb or is gordon the future?

3. who will be gone next year out of these guys. surtain(hope not), seau (still playing good?) feidler(please god), greenwood?, madison? freeman?, knight?

4. is this t-bowens last year? if so do we draft a DT or DE with our first pick?

Answers
1. of course, he is just getting started
2. depends on how Gordon plays this year, if he is great, he will earn a few years of play!!
3.Seau and Feidler are done after this season!!! Surtain my end up being too expensive to resign and would also depart. other than those players, we should be able to hold on to the rest.
4. Might be TimBos last run. He really sounds as if he is struggling to play and/or practice with the bad back. We will know after the season of his intentions (unlike ricky "smoke em if you got um"

These are all opinions, no facts were used in this portrail. LOL

1. I say of Rick being our Head Coach is 1.5/5

2. Gordon is the furture. but we might use like a 3rd pick in the draft or go to free agent and pick up a RB that can get 400-800 yards.

3. Fiedler, Knight, Seau and posibly T-BO

4. Pretty much. 1st pick might be a DT depending on how our other 4 DT do this year.

Why would Surtain be going anywhere? Madison cant be cut. and Greenwood and Knight are FA. Freeman has this year to prove himself if he even gets the chance to.

Surtain is an upcoming free agent I believe.

But let the season play out before you ask these questions as they can not be answered now.

1. I really don't see Spielman being fired. He will be here next year no matter what.

2. If Edge can come sorta of cheap and Gordon has a 1000 yard season I think it is possible to see both these guys here next year slpiting time. If we draft some one(doubt it), it won't be until the 5th or 7th round.

3. Surtain(traded), Seau(retires), Fiedler(cut/traded), Greenwood(signs long-term deal with Fins), Madison(Staying here), Freeman(traded), Edwards(signs long-term deal), Knight(He could be back or released. Up in the air right now).

4. This is probably Tim Bowens last year. He will most likely retire and I believe we will spend our 1st round pick on a DT.

Pretty good, unless this team turns out to be a complete disaster. Hard to imagine Rick would be fired after just one year.

2. do we draft/pick a stud rb or is gordon the future?

Hard to say. Let's see what he does this year. They obviously like his potential, as do a lot of NFL people. My guess is that Gordon's the future at RB unless something falls into our laps.

3. who will be gone next year out of these guys. surtain(hope not), seau (still playing good?) feidler(please god), greenwood?, madison? freeman?, knight?

Fiedler is almost certain to be gone; he's up for a $4M cap hit next season. They could restructure, but I wouldn't count on it. If Wanny is gone, Fiedler will probably follow him out the door.
Surtain will still be here. After 2005, it's anyone's guess, though.
I would bet that Seau is gone after this year. We've got too many young LBs and too many other needs to keep paying him big money. He might retire.
Greenwood, we'll see. Call it 50-50.
Madison will be here. The dead cap cost for cutting him is enormous.
Freeman is probably gone. $3M due next year, which is *WAY* too much for an average safety. He might restructure, and if so, that might push Knight out the door.

4. is this t-bowens last year? if so do we draft a DT or DE with our first pick?

Bowens has been making retirement noises for awhile. If this ends up being a really injury-prone year, that might be enough to push him into retirement.
As for a replacement, let's see how Bryan Robinson performs. If he's good enough to make a tag team with Larry Chester, maybe we don't need to get a DT high.

Surtain is in a contract year next year if he isn't extended and is extremely expensive under that contract as well. The team is going to have to sit down with his agent and look carefully at his health and make a very important decision as to whether it is best to release, trade, or extend him. I have to believe that if he is healthy and doesn't want literally Champ Bailey+ money, he'll get extended.

I also want to address Freeman: I have to think that we're going to have to throw more than his market value at him in order to keep him. I'd be very surprised to see the team do that, so I think he'll walk. That is what happens when you keep making promises that you can't keep. I support the decision to not start him, but I totally understand him being a bit pissed off (I don't understand the trade demand, though).

Surtain is signed until 2005. Also Ferretsquig, there is a good chance Surtain won't be back since we have so much money invested in Madison and Howard, plus we drafted a stud in Will Poole and don't won't to spill another huge amount of money in the secondary. So, it is better to trade him and recieve high compensation for him then to keep him during the 2005 season just to see him walk for nothing in 2006.

1 RS stays, endo story. Wayne separated them and Rs has done fine. Wanny is on the hot seat not Rick.

2 Gordon would have to suk for us to spend a ton in FA on Edge, but if Edge is relatively cheap cap wise I could still see it, but Gordon is looked at as the guy

3 Jay, Seau may stay IMO depending on paycut or restructure, if not he will go, Freeman will be gone.

4 Tim-Bo will retire

well thay a few questions

Well:
1° I hope Rick could stay he has done very well, and he needs more time to built this team, I also think that if AJ and Grodon could play well he could stay.

2° Depend of how Gordon play, if he could get close or more than 1000 yards, I think that we don´t looking for a RB in 1° R, if not maybe yes, or we could looking for FA, like Edge.

3° I think this players go: Feidler ( if AJ don´t struggle, he will be our start next year), Surtain (he wants to much money and injuries), Freeman (he wants tp be starter) and maybe Kngiht.
I think the team will try to keep Morlon and maybe Junior for another year (i also think he could play find two more seson)...

and 4° I think dependes on thr RB (if he could play well) I think that we could looking for a DT to take T-Bowens plase or a DE if the convination of D-Bowens and J Williams don´t play well. And also if the OL struggle maybe we draft another OL....

Thats my oipion...

Depends on how his acquisitions do, particularly Feeley. If Feeley is a bust, Rick gets fired.

2. do we draft/pick a stud rb or is gordon the future?

Too early to tell.

3. who will be gone next year out of these guys. surtain(hope not), seau (still playing good?) feidler(please god), greenwood?, madison? freeman?, knight?

Madison, Seau, Fiedler and Knight for sure.

4. is this t-bowens last year? if so do we draft a DT or DE with our first pick?

Yes and yes.

1. Despite luck not going his way with a few players he brought in, Rick has done a great job as a rookie GM. He better stick around.

2. It's too early to tell, but I'd like to think that Gordon is the present and the future. If he has a pretty good year(not that great), take the wait and see approache on who's on the board in round 1. After all, he is only 24. I think we'll need a DT in the 1st round next year, however.

3. I think Seau and Fiedler will definately be gone next year. Surtain has a chance of being dealt for a draft choice or maybe a top notch offensive lineman or a top young defensive tackle(Shaun Rogers?). Moore and Feeley look like the potential replacements for Seau and Fiedler, and I hope we can retain Knight. If Edwards has a solid/healthy season, then I could see Freeman being dealt. I think Freeman signed a 2-year deal and Edwards signed a 1-year deal.

4. Unfortunately, the way things look right now, especially with his injuries and the cap...I think this may be Timbo's last run. He had a great career here and I wish him nothing but the best down the road whether he's here or not. Right now I am content on using the 1st-rounder on a DT, projecting David Bowens is a solid fill-in for Wale.
