While I do not post as often as most on this site, I follow it religiously. Especially this time of year, when the season is beginning, I get a tremendous amount of info and bang for the buck for my entertainment.

Just sayin..................

Hopefully, everyone has that same post it reminder. This ain't no Bernie Sanders freebie site!

Just not seeing any advertisements is worth the $20 to me but the fact is the owner is going out of pocket to keep the site running so if you have the means pitch in.
The last three posters have certainly done their part and more over the years so thanks for that guys

I've been here for a while now and I think the worst thing ever incorporated was the VIP board/forum.. this is the Internet! free content is everywhere & it's as easy as a Google search. if you keep the board at 2 different castes, one with exclusive content and one without, it really dilutes the info for those new to the board. I've been VIP before and it was awesome no doubt but if you had never been to FH before and this is all new to you, why would pay money to a forum you have no clue what the VIP experience is all about? this isn't roasting FH at all I just think it's a silly concept to have someone pay 20 bucks for something on the Internet without giving them real incentive. I wouldn't have known how cool VIP was if I didn't get a free tryout.

I haven't been a VIP and don't know that I care to. I know the info I get by jumping on this site is great. Also, I don't want to be a freeloader amongst my brethren.

Ain't nothing free lol. Electric bill to keep this site running is expensive.

No offense to anyone here and I use this site regularly although don't post often, but are the bills open somewhere so we can see how much is needed? I can't imagine the costs per month are what the goal for this month is set at.

Go to forum at the top of the page and there is a bar showing donation goal and donations received for the month.

Just my two cents...

If you have been here for years, you should feel obligated to donate or go VIP.

It's a very small token of appreciation that goes a very long way.

In a perfect world, staff should be payed for the thankless work they do to keep the board organized, running smoothly and most importantly on-topic (most of the time :chuckle:)

Seriously, any amount is appreciated and if everyone were to chip in, imagine how far that amount could go.

Okay time to fade back into lurking existence :3w:

Yep, donated 20 bucks in May, post draft, even though My VIP status was not up for expiration. Finheaven becomes a daily regimen this time of year, all the way through the season and many posters provide some of the best draft content that can be found on the net. I mean I can just go into the Training camp threads and get a full run down of tweets and happenings. Chat picks up big time during the season and on gamedays. And of course no ads.

It's not much, but I am sure the guys that keep the lights on here appreciate anything that goes towards their supreme efforts.

You may not have realized it but more and more content is becoming subscription based on the internet. A website like FH is not just there for free. The software costs money, server space etc.

It costs hundreds per month? If the costs were laid out for members to see, maybe some that would otherwise not donate would consider it.

I've laid it out numerous times. I explain it with the donation bar at the top of the page.
