Yessir, me and Mr. Bacardi Gold....
So we run a Wide 9. The idea is to play with a lead (what’s that?), therefore rushing the front 7 and dropping the secondary into coverage.
Since we have the lead, the other team will not be running the ball, therefore we do not require a strong run D. A good thing since we do not have one.
Our D line will force the QB into poor throws if not outright sacks. Our secondary is more than capable of covering forced passes (they probably are, but we’ll never know).
With properly timed blitzing and press coverage, we will feast.
