They played their asses off despite Hennehill completely keeping them on the field the first half and wearing them out. Besides the first drive and a bonehead decision toput one of the worst cover linebackers in NFl history out on an island, the defense really did their job.

Hennehill and the coaching staff shoulder all the blame here.
 
If only they had some awareness....might have recovered a game winning fumble or stopped a fake spike attempt.
 
But, you know what? As good as the defense played, when the game was on the line, they couldn't get a stop. They had two chances and couldn't get it done. You need to find a way to rise to the occasion there if you really are good.
 
Only good thing about the defense today was the DL (the only good unit on the defense). Don't let their spectacular play cloud your ability to see what amounts to an average defense.
 
So when Tannehill gives the team the lead in the 4th quarter and the defense gives up a FG and then game winning score then it isn't on them? You can't blame him for the loss b/c of the first half when the defense lost it at the end.

Team-wide loss. See the Bills game at home last year before Mario Williams caused a fumble at midfield and Buffalo drove to win. Same ****ing thing. Same Miami Dolphins.

people will blame Tannehill no matter what. 4th down and 10 you have to make that stop
 
I don't give anyone credit. This team won't get an 18th game, and won't deserve one.
 
Defense wasn't problem today, O and coaching was. They played their hearts out on a hot, humid day and was out there 3 to 1 in the first half.
 
In the end, they collapsed, plain and simple. Last two GB drives they gave 10 points and we lose. Typical Miami Dolphins defense for past 15 years, when it matters most, they usually fold.
 
We played back the whole last drive, when we were dominating with pressure just a few drives ago. Seriously going to just give up the blitz when thats the very thing that was working? Sure let's give Rodgers some time to let him be the elite pocket passer that he is. A gap blitz was creating 1v1s for wake on the edge, where he was dominating, and we were getting to him with whoever was blitzing a (misi, jenkins, wheeler) So baffled at the end of this game.
