I must say... I've been destroying Grier for over 5 or so years now. He started out so hot as a GM and always gave credit for his transactions and UDFA finds. The occasional good draft pick.


Leaving the past 5 years ailments apart, this is the first draft so far as a Dolphin fan where I'm absolutely floored with the first 2 days selection. Really can't think of a better way to go about it.

We got a top 3 interior offensive & defensive linemen in the draft. Bro, you can't ask for a better start.

Both picks A+ from me.

First it is too early to judge the picks. Second, history with Grier so far has shown us he is very cappable of total failure with high picks. I cant think Of a single player he has EVER drafted that will turn into a Hall Of Famer, and VERY few can even be considered top 5 at their positions even playing with other teams now. The reason we had a competitive team two years ago is because he imported (from other Teams) the only Top 5 talent we had. Think Ramsey, Hill, Armstead and Williams. And those were very expensive ones. Finally,Griers strategy when he took charge was to tear down the team and rebuild it to put us as contenders. After five years we are in the exact same place we were when he took charge without our team ever sniffing the true contender category, even with a healthy Tua his team was never on the same level as real contenders. So, I choose to wait before I judge but to be honest I didnt like the picks and the price he paid for the second one and I dont have any hope that he will deliver us a good one finally.
 
Love the players but Grier sucks and blows using draft resources.

Why? Because he traded our 3rd round pick in this draft for a 4th round in 2024 to draft a RB that barely played.

Then in this draft he panicked and traded a 3rd round pick to move up in the 2nd round for an OG.

Grier had to pick an OG because he has to replace the last OG he picked in the 2nd Round, Eichenberg, who is one of the worst rated OGs in the NFL. Btw, Grier used a 3rd round pick to move up in the 2nd round for Eichenberg too.

Well the jury is out on Wright. I think he will bring it this year now that our Oline is coming along. That's the hope šŸ˜‚

Grier sucks and some fans just are in denial mode since long ago.
 
Maybe you should wait another few years before you start another thread



Because thatā€™s how long itā€™s gonna take to see what you claim are successes fare in the NFL

That's fair, but we didn't "need" to draft another RB in 2024 though. We had Achane and 2 veteran RBs in Mostert and Wilson. Not to mention we're one of a handful of teams that carries a FB that played 30% of the offense snaps.

I'm with ya. Love both picks. Plus there are still good players left for day 3. This has a chance to be a stellar draft!
 
Oh, he finally realized we don't need project picks and need full Redenbacher corn? Cool. It's years too late. Grier can make these picks then kick rocks all the way to CA to help his brother GM that **** franchise.
 
I like the picks because we absolutely needed those players. Both seem to be good fits- needed a NT bad to fill the middle, and the OL seems great for a movement zone scheme at guard.

The issue is... its also his fault how we had gaping holes that we had no choice to fill with premier draft picks. We were not in position to wait, to get BPA or to see how the board falls. We had to get players in those positions.
