reading it on here but man what a scathing report by Jason LaCanfora about the state of the NFL as it relates to players both former and possibly current and other free agents and their view on the Dolphins. Basically stated that nobody wants to come here that is a big name guy. Said players are talking about how they either played for us or on the team and have told other players to pretty much stay away because of the way Ireland operates as well as how the team has gone so public about chasing marquis players/coaches and whiffed.

I know this isn't real news of anyone who has followed Miami for years as we have struck out in free agency even during the Marino years with the exception of a few players but I just cannot believe how bad it has gotten. I hope things look better after the draft and the entire free agency period is over but in typical Miami fashion, I am not holding my breath. However I will say that now that Miami pretty much has blown the entire thing up, maybe we needed this after all. New coach, new offense, new everything. That is the one thing I keep telling myself instead of putting bandaids on wounds every year that always still seem to hemorrhage.

I have placed a quarantine on any and all sports related TV for the time being, as I have too many things already over which to get worked up or aggravated. Ditto on Florio, rotoworld, etc. My work hours background noise these days is strictly CNBC; any news I elicit is mostly from here or the local newscasts.

We just need a new GM that won't screw his coach over. I would be happy if Ireland got canned. As long as he is here we screwed.
