I think they're evaluating him, leaving the door open to just having him on the PUP instead of IR. I heard a camp report that said he was out there tossing medicine balls from a lying down position with another injured guy.

I havent heard this report, but I saw him on the Insider video on the sidelines suited up next to Chester. He had a black sleeve on his knee.

Saban seem a straight up guy I don't think he that type to try to trick or fool but I read somewhere he will not tell the press how serious an injury or how the player will be out.

the other guy was Seau. Lets hope he can come back early. This season may be the "return of" i.e Boston, Ricky, Poole.

Yeah i saw Will Poole at training camp and got his autograph. While talking to him I asked him about the injury. He said its coming along well and really didnt get into any details with all the other fans and mayhem going on. It would be great to get him back at somepoint this season. Obviously they wont rush his injury too much so to see him back at midway to late season would be great
