I hope Ted Ginn gets "LIT UP" bye a HUGE hit soon. Maybe then he'll realize its not the end of the world and catch the damn ball like a MAN.

There is no cure for the kind of fear Ginn has....getting blasted would only increase it.

I think I understand what your trying to say, but it doesn't always work that way.

That would be like throwing someone, who can't swim, into the deep end of a pool. More than likely, that person will drown.

He has. Both times last season. One by Kawika Mitchell, he took the hit mid-air, and head on. Ginn got right back up like nothing hit him.

The other was on Ed Reed's interception return. HALOTI NGATA blind sided Ginn and UNLOADED on him. I thought Ginn was dead! Nope, he got right back up.

What the hell is he so scared of? I don't get what his problem is.

You answered a question I had, for the life of me I couldn't remember him getting hit. As a Dolphins fan I just want him to do something to take the pressure off himself and his team.

Here's the videos.

He gets hit at the 14 second mark in this one

And

1:56 mark.

I wish he had those hands this year.

That second video is making me wonder what happened to him. I swear, there has to be a psyciatrist somewhere in the world who specialises in cases like Ted Ginn.

wow..... all those catches in the second video is where he caught the ball with his body, meaning craddled the catch. he can't catch **** with his hands.

I believe WRs are akin to golfers. I say this because professional golfers can "lose their swing". The same thing can happen to WRs...they basically "lose their hands". You see it happen all the time...for whatever reason.

Tedd Ginn can catch the damned ball...he's just not doing it now.

Forget These Hits...im Talking Like Ray Lewis...helmet Flying Off, Laying On The Floor In Some Pain For A Bit!!

Thanks for posting those! You know I am really one to bash him! Not even so much for his drops, but more for what seems to be his lack of desire to be a football player. These video's lead me to believe it really is a mental thing. I do hope the switch gets flicked and the light goes on for this kid! If we can get him the ball deep on a couple of fades or fly routes I think he might build some confidence.

I feel like he just does not wanna get hurt..

After that National title game he has not been the same...

He def seems tentative and even on Kickoffs since then...

Except the Jets games

I love how everyone loves him for winning us that game against the Jets but everyone conveniently forgets that on his last KO return against the Jets, yes, even after the two TDs he laid down without being touched. Go back and watch it, he drops to the floor without anyone touching him. That tells me hes scared of getting hit and he's not going anywhere.

Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. I can usually catch the ball so well, but for some reason I just could not catch the ball worth a damn for 2 months. Who knows why it happened, it just did. I hope Ginn is going through the same thing.

It is so hard to know what you're doing wrong when you stick your hands up, and the ball just clanks right off them.

Of course we are happy he ran those back we are fans! No one is questioning him sliding, going down, running out of bounds etc. Speaking for myself I just know if we don't use him as a vertical threat on offense we are fighting a uphill battle facing 8 or 9 defenders in the box. Think about Jets game number 1 when he caught the deep ball, they had to back off the line and stop blitzing. That opened up everything and we had a offensive power house in the second half.
