I just realized.........

Olindo Mare is still our kicker till he gets cut or traded or takes a pay cut. There is a good chance he will still be with us.
 
Olindo is probably the best kicker available, and he is already here. Everyone else out there seems like has beens or never wases (new word ).

We just realized that you don't follow the Dolphins that closely...Mare is our kicker.

Why do we need a kicker ?? We have one of the top 5 guys in the league right now ?? Edinger is clearly a downgrade to Mare...Why people have this fascination with dumping Mare is beyond me. He played very well for us last year. He still is a league leader in touchbacks and is a career 83% kicker ?? He makes less than Vanderjagt and Vinitieri and he's several years younger than both ?? Edinger couldn't hold a stick to Mare...Lets concentrate on where we still have holes...

I think the reference is to the fact that Mare was really upset when asked to restructure and it looked as if he might be gone because of it. I love Mare and think you deffinately stick with the guy assuming it fits in the Saban agenda.
 
I bet you Saban gets what he wants out of Olindo. Saban in a genious and will find us a good kicker weather it's keeping Olindo or going after to Edinger or someone else.
 
lets not create holes that need to be filled. That whole thing was made too much of from the media.
 
After what Mueller and Saban saw Vanderjagt and Vinatiere cost, Mare is a bargain and we will hear little more.
 
I personally hope we keep Mare because he is one of the best all around kickers in league with his deep kickoffs. If we go cheap edinger I think is best option.
 
mare is our kicker edinger doesnt even look at the uprights b4 he kicks i mean i know he's money but common thats gotta screw him up in a big time situation
