We were outcoached today. I know half of this board goes into cardiac arrest when we pick on Saban and his staff but this one is obvious. How does the staff allow the Jets to dictate the matchups they want to us??? Why do we blitz on every down yet never get to the QB???? Why can't we dictate a matchup to the other team??? Like, Oh I don't know, Chris Chambers on a strong safety. Don't laugh, the Jets were able to get our strong saftey matched up with L. Coles twice. Our offense should be banned from the NFL because it is an embarassment. What is worse is we were the more talented team out there today, which was obvious by the 4th quarter, yet couldn't get it done. I'm disgusted with this offense. Today I saw a Jets team that was creative, moving guys around to create matchup problems and confusion all over the field. I saw a Miami team that had no creativity and lines up and said beat us. Like 4 other teams the Jets did just that. We are a poorly coached team. I'm sorry but it's true. I'm sorry I'm disgusted and need to vent. Why not have Will Allen shadow Coles??? Does anyone realize our best corner was covering that college QB guy (Brown) on the long TD pass. Why are we allowing teams to dictate matchups to us????????? That is pathetic coaching.

So true. The coaching staff it terrible at making adjustments.

the question I raise is, why do the playcallers wait until the 4th quarter to start really moving the ball? anyone got a goods answer for that?

Its called the other team playing prevent defense. Same way Cullpepper always ended up with a lot of yards in the 4th quarter.

Yeah offense is bad and we should have made some kind of adjustment when Goodman got injured. I was watching and waiting for Eddie Jackson to get burned and he did. Then he dropped a possible int that would have been a TD. I still do not blame the d though.

They can't score points when it matters plain and simple.

Its Mularkey people cant you see that. Our offense was much more potent with Linehan calling the plays last year. Our OC is an idiot and his past shouldve told us this

Why do we allow Eddie Jackson to be one on one with Coles?????? Poor coaching that's how. A staff that obsesses over blitzing yet gets to the QB once every 2 or 3 weeks. How many times have we seen our best WR's shadowed by the oppositons best corner??? I remember in 2002 we were playing Indy and the Colts were doing the same thing. They were dictating the matchup of Marvin Harrison Vs Jamar Fletcher. Anyone else remeber this game???? Anyway, even Wanny was smart enough, after getting beat several times, to have Sam Madison shawdow Harrison and when the game was on the line we won.

We are to well planned for adjustments but at halftime all 79 coaches surround NICK as he practices throwing that little red challenge flag.

NICK has now mastered the art of flag throwing...his book on flag throwing will follow this off season.

No, he didn't drop them today, but he called a halfback pass on a two-point conversion that cost us that game. He called a pitch out to Ronnie Brown vs. Pittsburgh, he is a HORRID Offensive Coordinator. Enough Said, why Saban hired this clown is beyond me.:fire:

sure its partly the coaching but some of the blame has to be on the players fo rnot themselves realising the matchup problems and shifting around all they have to do is use some common sense on the field and its possible those plays could have been prevented it also would seem that there is some big communication issues between our secondary shown by the amount of blown coverage assignments especially by the safeties over the top i.e traveres tillman!!!
