But how can you expect to win when you:

- Squander timeouts
- Fail to utilize the running game (your strength)

I'm not going to bash players like Chad Pennington for a poor game and say it was a mistake to sign him when it's only been one game. But there is no reason the Dolphins shouldn't have won this game. There really isn't.

This team is not going to win 6-7 games making mistakes like that.

If this team was lead by Cam we would of given up in the third quarter. This team shows it had a lot of heart and guts.

Keep in mind its TP first head coaching gig. He'll get a lot better as the games go on.

You take away a few of the mistakes and we win this game. Those mistakes will disappear with experience. This team is rebuilding, expect some games like this, if we still see this in the 8th or 9th game of the season then you can start to freak out.

What was with the play action towards the end of the game? Everyone knew we weren't running it, and we hadn't for a while, yet they kept doing it.

the jets outplayed us. they made the bigger plays. we made countless errors- mental and physical. yet we still had a decent chance to win.

thus far home team are 9-1 this year -OUCH!!!!

Miami made mistakes. Squandered timeouts. Made stupid Penalties. Gave up a few to many sacks and only completed two passes tow wrs going into the 4th.

And still almost won the game. While I'm not happy, they didn't give up. And the Jets, while lame, are a pretty decent team. We'll beat some teams this year.

But they don't run the ball....so here we are after two incompletions on first and second down with 3rd and 10 and a guy who cant throw the ball more than 5 yards.

my biggest complaint was we didn't even run the ball 20 times. Our OL is built to run, not be dropping back that much that often.

Running is our supposed strength, so.....

Run it on first down maybe pickup 2-3 yards, run it on second down maybe another yard or two.

Then you have 3rd and 4 or 5 instead of 3rd and 10. A manageable situation for Pennington and his 3 yard passes.
