I dont care if you guys bust my chops I clearly think we should have made some moves and brought in some clear cut starters. Im tired of being dissappointed with this team. We never bring anything in but trash from other teams. Why cant we bring in some talented players that can step in and play and contribute. You guys say we are rebuilding and we dont need to trade and things like that. Why NOt ? Is my question. I agree that Roy Willimas is talented but def not worth the 3picks the Boys gave uup for him. I wouldnt even have given them a 1st by itself. For BOldin yeah. But an uderachieving Roy . NO Thanks. I do think we should ahve made a play for Fabian Washington during the draft. Baltimore got him for a 4th round pick. We had the one from Philly we got for Booker. Dante Hall while requiring mucho money he still has shutdown capabilities and has I think 4 INT on the year. He does get burnt some but cant be worse than the garbage we already have. I am tired of seeing us get beat over and over and teams planning to pass on us since we are teribly weak in the pass coverage. In the draft I think we should have grabbed a CB and a WR. At least a CB. We didnt attempt to get anybody in FA after the first few moves we made. Why didnt we go after Berrian, Samuels yes alot of money but a solid player that would have solidified the secondary. We can get a S in next years draft like Will Moore. But with Allen and Samuels it would be a good combo. Fahkir Brown got cut the other day and I think hes still ava. Hes decent. Dominique Foxworth got traded for a 7th round pick. The kids 25 and shows promise and was well worth a 7th round pick. Eugene Wilson is still out there. We didnt go after Deltha Oneal who you might not like but is better than everyone but ALLEN point is you might be happy with what Bill is doing . But the fact is that we are going to lose until he decides to spend money and quit bringing in his old players. Spend the money and quit worrying about trading picks. If its not a 1-3 round pick chances are its really not going to matter . Anyone picked after the 3rd round is really not going to make an impact. You can think what you want. Unless they surprise and blow up 4th rounders on are bench players and practice squad players. Look how many of you guys liked HIlliard and Parmele. Worthless. Murphy pick should have been Dwight Lowery, Brandon Carr, Zack Bowman or Orlando Scandrick. Wasted Pick. Have you seen how good Lowery has been playing he has already assumed the starting position. I really wanted a CB at one point in the draft but dissappointment rolled in as usual. Do something about our WR and CB situation or we are going to be a stepping stone and mediocre team for several more years. BP scares me also cause if we had a top 5 pick next year and Mike Crabtree was ava. I think he would pass saying I LOVE DEFENSE . If a player the caliber of Crabtree is ava you have to take him but I dont think we would. We will go Malaugha if hes there or. If not it will be Laurinitis,Selvie (who is too small to be effective in the NFL), Johnson DE. When it should be Crabtree,Vontae Davis, Malcolm Jenkins. If we do not take one of the following with the 1st pick we have then Im seriously thinknin about a switch of teams. I live in Tennessee and Id be much better off likin the Titans. But Ive been a fan for 26 years. Dan Marino was the main and real only reason I liked Miami. Now that hes gone I feel sick to my stomach when people ask what team I like. I hesitate and Say the Dolphins. I get laughed out of the room and I cant really defend anything about them . Were turnin it around I say. But are we really. We are 2-4. Wow 2wins thats 1more than last year and the way weve been playing maybe we will finish with only 2 wins. Quit defending BP and Sparano . they arent doing that great of a job. A monkey could have brought in a decent fill in players to compete. A real coach/VP would have brought in winners to play to win.

Hey what are you talking about? Everyone was saying we were so smart for not over spending in FA this year!

Wayne-O at it again... have to love him being forced to pay a lot of money for rookies.

Why not?

cause they cost money. Roy Williams got PAID on top of the cowboys giving up the 3 picks. All in all, if the cowboys continue their skid, that's going to be looked at as the worst move Jerry Jones has made in years. Imagine if miami traded for Roy, he wouldn't be able to help us just like he wasn't able to help the Boys this weekend. Its too late in the season to expect a WR to learn a whole new offense.

Big name FAs are expensive, and lets face it, not worth it. They're boom or bust level is worse than the draft (Wilford). Thats why we dont sign too many. We're making the right moves, lets just hope it pans out.

Rebuilding is a 3 year effort, and its even worse when you play musical coaches like we've been doing.

And screw up our cap for years?? They are doing it the right way. Just because we are not going to go to the Super Bowl this year does not mean they are failing. We are probably a .500 team this year. Anyone that lives in a real world knew that was the max number of wins we were going to get this year. Give it time.

Ummm, we had talented veteran players here over the last 4 or 5 seasons. And what did that get us? I would MUCH rather rebuild and get younger with YOUNG talent than go down in flames with the vets. Again, having the vets here in the recent past got us NOWHERE.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but I just cant agree here. Rebuilding and getting younger is the right move in our case. The front office has already brought in some young talented players via the draft, free agency and trades. Thats a start. In the next off-season/draft, the current weaknesses (secondary/WR) will be addressed and we will go from there. This isn't something thats gonna happen overnight, gonna take some time.

Patience. Thats all I keep telling myself so I dont end up like 50% of the fans here saying they are depressed after losing yesterday....as if we have a playoff team now.

So I guess that: Chad Pennington Anthony Fasano Jason Ferguson Akin Ayodele Justin Smiley Reggie Torbor Randy Starks isn't enough for you. We also brought in McNown and Wilford, but it turns out that they suck. If anything, the front office did a great job of bringing in low-cost free agents and pulled off some very efficient trades.

Dude.......here's the bottom line. We have been SO BAD in the last few years that NOTHING is going to fix this mess over the course of 16 games. We can save some money and lose most of the time this year, or we can spend all the money and STILL lose most of the time this year. Look at a franchise like the Cardinals. I know they are finally winning a little more than they are losing, but they have done it WRONG for so long when it comes to personnel. Sure, they have the money wideouts, but do they finally have the OTHER pieces to win it all? You have to trust our front office to spread out the money just right over several years, and they are on the right track to returning us to a winner. I love the Phins, and I hate to be the one to tell ya, but be prepared to be let down some more this year. Yes, be prepared to lose several more, and try not to be too upset. This IS NOT going to be our year. The good news is..... we will be better next year, and even better than that in 2010. I guarantee it.

what have we done the last few years?
nothing, i weas hoping saban started over from scratch.

I seem to remember a few coaches depending on veteran talent in lieu of rebuilding. Remember Wanny and Saban? It didn't work.

[Enter <--'] broken?

It's pretty simple. This is rebuilding an entirely new team from the ground up, not the patchwork plug-n-play that has defined this organization for the past, what, 15 years? 20 years?

Yeah let's do it the way all those teams that never won anything did it. Or let's draft our foundation and pick up some FA's to fill in the gaps here and there like the past superbowl champs NYG, NE and Indy.

It sucks to wait on Christmas Eve but it certainly is worth it when morning comes. Santa (BP) never seems to disappoint unless your a spoiled rotten kid that expects everything now. For the rest of us we know the wait will be worth it.

they will bring in veterans that are 26 yrs old or younger this year and are top players. watch n' see.

I think they would have brought in a few more if they had known how bad some of the vets really are...I bet they thought they had some receivers in Ginn, Hagan, and Wilford...and maybe even a decent DB or two. The were also fooled in training camp when the thought our DBs were better than they are because our receivers sucked hind tit and made them look good....IMO...

Of course I think they only would have brought in a few more first time FA's...not any big money guys...at least I hope not....
